As a matter of fact, I did that today.

I just told Cortland that if Griffin is worth $6M, that he must be worth $12M. Griff didn't like that too much. But my criticisms are never mean, I'm actually trying to help the guy out by telling him the truth. I would be the happiest guy around after Griffin himself if he was able to turn it around. But i just know he wont.

Griffin is one of those guys that brings his baggage on the field with him, he doesn't check it at the door, and use the field as a get away like so many players do.

I had my girlfriend ask him where he gets his hair done, because it's so pretty. She then proceeded to ask him if he wears gloves to catch the ball or protect his nails:)

    We ain't seen nuttin' yet.

I agree but feel Finnegan wasn't overrated LAST season. In the two seasons before (after the Pro Bowl season), I thought Finnegan was a good, but not close to elite, CB. I think the Titans got him in a role last season where he thrived. Problem is, no one is going to give him a huge contract unless they think he's a top #1 outside CB which, IMO, he isn't.

Notable FA safeties: Jordan Babineaux, Thomas DeCoud, Sean Jones, LaRon Landry, Jim Leonhard, Reggie Nelson, Darian Stewart, and Tom Zbikowski.

1st/2nd Rd safeties: Mark Barron, Harrison Smith, Markelle Martin, and George Iloka

Notable FA CBs: Ronde Barber, Brandon Carr, Chris Carr, Cortland Finnegan,
William Gay, Carlos Rogers, Aaron Ross, Lardarius Webb, Eric Wright, and Tyrell Thomas.

1st/2nd Rd CBs: Mo Claiborne, Dre Kirkpatrick, Janoris Jenkins, Alfonzo Dennard, Stephon Gilmore, Tru Johnson, Brandon Boykin, Dwight Bentley, Jayron Hosley, and Leonard Johnson.

    IMO avail CBs >>>> Ss

Even though Finnegan is better than Griff, it would be harder to replace Griff. Simply because there's not alot of options at safety. You dont pay 10M/yr to a slot CB, even if he's your "team captain" etc. You pay 10M to elite CBs, not just an above average corner. Finnegan has severely overrated himself. Even though I love Cortland, he's just not worth the price tag.

This poor guy posted an update, stating nothing more than Griffin being franchised and got a ton of "it sucks":ha:

Thats why I will never post bad news like this:ha:

Haha he has never gotten a high five either. Talk about shooting the messenger.

The solution to helping Griffin play better is simple; improve the pass rush. He had his best year in 2008 when Albert was dominating inside and consistantly getting pressure. Bring in some players that can get to the QB and Griff will start improving.
