I don't think we're happy, I think we're content. It'd be a different story if we didn't have such major question marks at G, C, FS, SS & DE. Even DT needs more of an upgrade IMO than WR does.

I said 19 players. And you don't have to be one of the top 5 receivers in the league to be a legit number one receiver.

yes as much i think we should get a true number one so britt can be the 1b receiver or IF he gets injured i think we will be done with receivers through free agency but i think we will pick one up in the 3-5 round range through the draft...

32 teams - 19 teams with 1000 yard receivers = 13 teams simple math really

Some teams might have 2 1000yard receivers depending on who they have so the teams might very in the above equation

However you look at all the teams around the league you'll see no name guys and high caliber guys. The ones without 1000 probably has a bad QB, missed part of the season, or just not starting caliber.

Washington had a great year I will get him that he is a good football player I'm not taking anything away from him. However, he is not a number 1 receiver in my eyes. Your top receiver should put fear in QB eyes that demand extra coverage so CJ isn't going against eight man boxes all the time.

I think it's awesome to see that The Steelers are in a major contract pinch this offseason and they have a particular FA WR I would LOVE to see The Titans get their hands on (and his name isn't Ward - but it does have the same first two letters)...

Pickens really stuck it to Cincy. That Blake/Pickens/Scott deal was fun for a second but that centered around the worst time ever for Bengals fans. I'd rather forget all of that period..

So how many of those 19 are legit number ones?

Washington hasn't always been a number one. But he was this year.

Why because Washington had a 1000 yards he is a # 1 receiver. Jordy Nelson had a 1000 yards, do you consider him a # 1? Many tight ends are breaking the 1000 yard mark. Antonio Brown has over 1000 is he a # 1 in your eyes?

    Heyward-Bay
    Reggie Wayne
    Harvin
    Garcon
    Gaffney

All guys who were so close to 1000 yards and look who was throwing to them Painter, Grossman, Ponder, Palmer really? Is that your only justification of Washington being a # 1?

When I look to talk about Nate Washington and where he stands, I look at the leagues other slot receivers. He's become the 3rd best IMO. Only Welker and Cruz are better right now out of the slot.

When Nate is asked to play the X role, he also does well, and for that reason, I say he is a No.1 receiver now. Does our team need three No.1 WR's? No, we don't. The Giants had two 1000-yard WR's, but only have one No.1 WR and they just won the Lombardi, we run the same system. We can be successful with the guys we have at WR.

If we don't address WR til late in the draft, I'll be happy.

MIKE WALLACE! All it would take is a first round pick....and our pick is not that high either....they'd rather him go to TN than Balt or NE
