Do most people think we are done with looking at FA WRs since we signed Hawk? or would we have interest in a guy like Early Doucet? He is young and seems to finally be getting it. Although he isn't that tall he plays bigger than he is because of his thick body.

To me the FA group of WRs is the deepest group out there.

Bowe, Burress, Colston, Cotchery, Crayton, Doucet, Garcon, D. Jackson, V. Jackson, Stevie Johnson, Brandon Lloyd, Manningham, Meachum, Laurent Robinson, Eddie Royal, Reggie Wayne...

Do we get more insurance in case Britt can't get healthy?

I think we are done and will add a rookie WR to the roster from the mid rnd of the draft, but a bunch of those names are appealing.

Here's the thing. People keep saying insurance in case Britt goes down. He hasn't ONCE shown that he can complete a full season. So it should be lets get insurance WHEN Britt goes down.

So yea I don't think we are done nor should we be. I'm a pro active person so getting someone that can not only alleviate the obvious tear and stress the game has on Britt's body but also be there for when he inevitably breaks down is just a smart move. Not getting one to me seems bone headed and putting all our eggs in one basket..that has broken 3 years IN A ROW.

If we don't get a free agent receiver we strongly need to consider one in the earlier rounds from 1-4 depending how the draft goes. Outside Hawkins being a beast on 3rd downs outside of that he has yet to proven much. Williams is looking like he is developing into a good receiver next year could be his year. Washington had a monster year and played thru a lot of injuries he gave his heart to this team, however this will be his 8th season. Britt has been plague by injuries all three years, and going by history (knock on wood) he will always be like this. We need a legit number 1 receiver if Britt is going to have the injury bug to step up and take over. Washington did a good job filling in but he is not a number 1.

Since the beginning of time the Titans have not had much luck acquiring good free agent WR's.

Here's our history with free agent WR's
    1998 Yancey Thigpen 91 catches 1430 yards 9 TD's in 31 games
    2000 Carl Pickens 10 catches 242 yards 0 TD's in 9 games
    2006 David Givens 8 catches 104 yards 0 TD's in 5 games
    2007 Eric Moulds 32 catches 342 yards 0 TD's in 16 games
    2007 Justin Gage 137 catches 2050 yards 12 TD's in 51 games
    2008 Justin McCareins (2nd stint) 30 catches 412 yards 0 TD's in 14 games
    2009 Nate Washington 163 catches 2279 yards 19 TD's in 48 games
    2010 Randy Moss 6 catches 80 yards 0 TD's in 8 games
    2011 Donnie Avery 3 catches 41 yards 1 TD in 8 games

Justin Gage. Despite his lack of big plays was a good pickup. And Nate is the man now.

Not so fast. For the first time in Kenny's life he's staying active in the offseason. Sure he ripped his knee apart just 5 months ago, but the encouraging thing about that is he's now less likely to pull a hamstring, AND now understands what it means to talk care of your body. Sometimes in life you have to take a step back in order to take two steps forwards.

I completely understand your concern, but aside from Kenny we now know we have 3 other NFL WR's we can count on.

Sucks it took him destroying his knee to realize those things. Britt is a monster on the field. I hope he can recover from the knee, but I don't know if the guy can play a complete season. And that makes me sad.

We shouldn't stop at WR with Hawk but we probably will. If anything I think we bring in another scrub like Avery.

I love Kenny and know that he can beast but you can't overlook his history with injury. I don't think we should depend on him so much. Look what has happened to us when we do. We end up turning to guys like Williams and Hawk who are best served as role players, not starters. Both have played well but have also been very inconsistent. We need more.

Keep in mind, we never intended to draft a WR as high as we did in 2010. Williams developing as well as he has makes it far less likely we sign a free agent.

Open question- Would you rather have Britt for half a season, or Nate for an entire season?
