we both have our opinions and i think if we called cinci they would give us their late first for cj i believe but to say we play the off season in madden mode? come on man...i know for a d@mn fact if i was running the team hope would not of played as a titan for the past two years....fisher wouldnt have coached here for so many years producing no championships and i would not of resigned cj i would of let him hold out as he still had a year or two on his contract and we could of gotten at least a first for cj last offseason if not more...

If Megatron had a down year but signs a huge deal would you trade for him?

I don't think we'll draft one. But if a LB falls a round more than projected, I wouldn't be surprised if we picked up one.

Megatron is not a RB. It's truly apples and oranges.

    Megatron is a decepticon.

Point being look what the Falcons gave up to get Jones it did not improve their team any, kind of like how you guys on here say rb are replaceable. However if megatron somehow came off a terrible year but got put on the trade block I would bet almost everyone will throw whatever we got to get him. Same thing their will be some team that could value Chris enough to give up something for him.

You're still ignoring the fact that CJ is a RB, not a WR. You simply can't compare CJ to Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, or any other WR in the league. Elite WRs have a much longer shelf life than elite RBs. RBs simply aren't worth the same kind of compensation.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying some team wouldn't give up "something" for him. I'm just saying no way in hell any team gives up a first round draft pick for the guy.

the nfl is a passing league so the only way he would have a down year in detroit at that, is from injury...

    as for a rb like cj its a season of -2, -1, -3, -1, 0, 15, -3, -2,-1, 7 which isnt that good....and kills an offense...two totally different topics there

Your all missing the point I know they are two completely different positions. I'm not comparing the two either. I'm trying to explain the logic here I'm trying to use. When the situation is right CJ is a nightmare for defenses hence cj2k he needs a good power back and a o-line. He is still very much a threat that teams respect him enough to stack the box every play. How can any of you guys say that no team would throw a high pick at the guy, just like how you guys think I'm crazy someone would. None of us know how any front office thinks or what they would really do, its redundant to even argue about it anymore. No one is right or wrong cause we will never know. I know it will never happen but I know almost everyone would do the trade on here cj for a first to get trent richardson.

this is very true but lets realize that he was cj2k because fisher forcefed thim the ball and we had a good center....should of traded him when he was at the top of his game cause the number of carries cj had in his career after his 2k season was outrageous and should of expected a drop of

example is this look at ray rice carries and he is their bruiser back....http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/11289/ray-rice

    and now look at cj....http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/11258/chris-johnson
