Deuce, you have no idea what you are talking about here. I'm "sticking to" concrete evidence that I have of what is going to happen. I know people who work in the industry and they have information about this stuff they have relayed to me. Just because you think Nike is some kind of all-powerful entity that gets to break as many NFL rules as it wants means nothing. You are pulling predictions out of thin air and I am getting real information for credible sources.

The vast majority of NFL teams are going to look almost exactly the same next year. All that will change will be a Nike logo in place of a Reebok logo, as well as some minor adjustments to striping (they might get a bit thinner or shorter... that kind of stuff) to accommodate the new cut of jerseys Nike will use.

Nike doesn't wag the NFL...the NFL wags everybody....

Exactly. The NFL has extremely strict rules about uniforms and they just tightened those rules last year [source]. They know that Nike will try to influence many teams to change their uniforms, so the league has specifically made it extra difficult for this to happen.

I expect we will continue to see things happen at about the same pace as they did under the Reebok contract. We will see about 1-2 teams change uniform designs every 3-4 years.

Teams still have to give a ton of notice before they change anything and designs must be approved by the league office.

Nike is about as good as it gets, but there are plenty of people willing to take the NFL's money to make their apparel. There's only 1 NFL.

I think our look has become stale and I have never liked the helmet. I would prefer to go with a logo more like the T sword.

I hope that when we get redesigned jersey's (and hopefully logo) they are drastically different. I would hate to be like the Lions, "new" jersey and logo and you can barely tell the difference

You women, they are football jerseys! Not fashion wear! They put sweaty 300lb men in these things, roll them in the dirt, then rip them into pieces. They're not suppose to look good, just identify who's who.

The main thing we need to do is change the helmet logo to the sword - or something different.

At least we don't have the Browns helmets.

Maybe I'm the only one, but when I watch football, I'm looking at the plays unfold, TD's being scored, and stuff, not the players butts and socks.

The whole idea that it's somehow girly or gay to care about clothing is childish.

McNulty: You know what they call a guy who pays that much attention to his clothes, don't you?
    Bunk: A grown-up.

If you don't get that reference, too bad for you.
