Rambo is just the flavor of the moment. Someone must have watched Georgia's bowl game when the commentator said he was one of the top safeties in the nation then put him in their mock.

Six weeks ago it was Jermaine Kearse.

Poe is a 34 NT but he can be used in our system jus fine to eat blocks and push the pocket back, this allows Casey a single guard to beat.

i just dont understand i guess why you would take a 3-4 nt to play 4-3 dt when we could take a natural 4-3 dt instead....

DT is DT, the NT and UT (under tackle) are just variations.

Basically smith was supposed to play the nt position this year for us and just be a space eater. But he sucked. While the nt normally brings a double team and is lined up off the center, it gives the UT a single guard to beat. It's just scheme.

Also a good NT would give us options to run 34 looks. Like gray has spoke of.

then what do we do with morgan and our other end? we cant get pressure now with 4 players let along 3 who dont normally play there...

The 34 scheme would be to hide where the pressure would come from, I highly doubt we would use it on rushing downs much. It wouldn't be an all the time thing, just help to give our defense some versatility. Morgan is a big boy and I think he would be the end we left on the field in the 34 looks along with a good nt and Casey as the other end. They talked about standing Morgan up, but who really knows?

I'm not against the 34 looks as long as it doesn't hurt us.

With a good rush DE and another DT to put beside Casey we should have a decent line. Unless Morgan really comes with it next year, it probably
won't be much to write home about, but of they could at least start stopping the run... Lol
