What is Wyatt talking about when he says "the offensive line also shares a good chunk of the blame because of their inconsistencies"?

    They were consistently bad! LOL

And I'd love to figure out how efficient vs the run we were with McCarthy vs. Rudd. I know there's got to be a major difference.

I don't see how the running game can be graded anything but an F.

It's not just how inept it was, its also shocking to see such a drop off.

I give the passing game a B- . It was at times great to watch and when healthy Hasslebeck was superb and as a group the WR all stepped up.
Even so it seemed that there were too many bone headed plays called. At times we looked unstoppable but killed drives with odd calls.

I give the rushing defense a D with Ruud, a C with McCarthy.

I think that the passing defense and special teams grades are fair.

Coaching is the tough one. We started so well that it skewed our expectations. Over the full season we blew hot and cold and remained inconsistent. C is probably fair. Too many questions to give them a B.

Gray improved as the season progressed , working around a weak front 4.

Palmer was predictable but when plays are well executed they stilll work even if predictable. The passing offense was certainly well coached but some of the calls were odd. Clock management was questionable.

Palmer was good for both Hasselbeck and Locker.

Was Palmer to blame for the blocking scheme? If he was he pulled it back with the passing game. I can't make my mind up whether I want him as OC next year or not. He did a lot of good things.

Dave Ragone came with Palmer. He was our coach of the year IMO. Washington went from droppington to velcro hands. Hawkins,Williams,Cook and last Sunday Avery all showed they have a place on the roster.

I haven't seen us have so many useable WR's since the run and shoot.

Matthews looks like a turd. I'm embarassed for him.

Munchak infuriated with sticking with the interior O line and and the Colts Steelers and Texans losses were despicable. The team had no fire and could seem to light one.

Even so overall his first year was a success. He showed balls in going for 4th downs often. Should have made the playoffs but 9-7 isn't bad for a rookie.

Clearly those ratings are very biased....

Passing offense was a C+ at best...Hasselbeck started strong but he was pretty terrible the 2nd half of the season..

Rushing defense should be an F/D-

Passing defense should be a C because of all the long 3rd down completions we gave up..

Idk how Coaching isn't anything but average if that....C

Overall I'd say the year can be graded with a C...pretty average football team.

Munchak said something like the lockout hurt chemistry on the o-line.Chemistry,as in not knowing what the other guy is doing or recignition by the center not making the proper adjustments or one or two guys always needing help to block a man or blitz pickup because they are being manhandled. Its time to upgrade the interior o-line

    "Passing defense: B

The Titans finished 14th in the NFL in passing defense, and for the most part kept teams in check. The cornerback play was consistently good, from Jason McCourty to Cortland Finnegan to Alterraun Verner".
Seems like one of the better scores we got and one of the areas that is going to be hit hard in the off-season. I hope we can keep that 'B' without Finnegan and Griffin.
