    Sure.

    Yup.

    No.

I think anybody that watched basketball in the '80's would smack you upside the head at this point.

    1. Please son, he averaged almost 4 assists as a rookie and dribbles like a 2/3.

    2. Lol you're one of those folks... How dare I mention any of this generation's stars in the same sentence as the oldies. Let me guess, you think Jerry West would smoke any of today's guards?

He dribbles like a 2/3 that isn't that great at dribbling. He is a nice passer, but I don't think he is on CWebb's level. CWebb was infinitly better than Griffin in a half court set.

I'm not one of those guys at all, but Kevin McHale was 100% craftiness. He had jump hooks with both hands, fadeaways from both sides, a mid-range step back jump, a variety of up and under moves, and more combo moves than anyone except maybe Hakeem. I hated the Celtics of that era and especially McHale, but the man put on a clinic every night. Kevin McHale is the anti-Blake Griffin.

    1. I can say the same about C-Webb, he had handles and would make other 4's look silly but would lose it he tried to show off to a point guard, it's the same with Griffin.

    2. Never did I say Griffin is on McHale's level of post moves lol. I specifically used words like "little" and "at times".

K-Blaze is the anti-Blake Griffin because he had next to none athleticism so he had to rely on his craft. Griffin is just physically more gifted than his opponents so he dunks on them. You play to your strengths.

It's just dumb when people say Griffin has no skills and can only dunk. That's why LeBron James is a MVP and Shannon Brown is a rotation player.

I guess anyone that makes a jump shot and can dunk is a little like Michael Jordan...

Saying someone made a Kevin McHale move is not saying they're like Kevin McHale. Not that difficult.

I'll admit that I'm not much of a basketball buff, so you and DW are probably right, but he always impresses me when he plays.

^I actually like Rondo's playing style while being an avid Celtics hater. I just think he's the product of the system. Most Kentucky fans that watched him play in college will tell you the same since they never expected to hear his name again once in the NBA.

G'mo- you use a "guys that can only dunk" counter-example with Lebron James? lol... Now that's funny.

    1. Rondo is good, if he's JUST a product of the system, then they would traded his a** and replaced him already. He's just as valuable to his team as any of the big 3, especially during their championship run.

    2. Funny, you said this last year and it was refuted with numbers, you just never can learn, can ya. Funnier, it was in the same thread where you said Blake Griffin was going to be a bust.

I actually proved myself correct with another set of numbers.

    :)

Lebron is a dunk/layup artist and that's it (as a scorer). Getting 20 from the line a night doesn't change that either since he sucks at FTs too.

Blake Griffin might not be a bust, but he's not going to be great. He doesn't have the skill-set to be.
