I got tired of the PR unit constantly running the gunners out of bounds and getting called for it. Happened like 3 times in 2 games or something stupid like that

The Shaw & Bailey addition last season has helped our ST big time.- They might have bailed Alan Lowry out.

I've wanted to see Lowry depart the Titans for many years now. I felt like his friendship with Fisher kept his job for years Then he had a heart attack and I knew Fisher would never get rid of him. Then Munch comes along and I have faith that he would finally depart but noooooooooo.

I also think the MCM play gave him a coach for life pass from someone.

The Music City Miracle was classic, one of the best special teams play ever. Could that one play really have bought him 10+ years?

I think it bought him a spot for the rest of Fisher's tenure, and I think some of the coaches got a 1 year pass with Munchak.

I think alot of my opinion of Munchak will be based going forward on whether he actually backs up his "we are going to be accountable" bark with an actual bite in the offseason. Our ST play has been better, but not better than average this season IMO.

My vote is to remove Lowry and Palmer after the season....jmo.

100% agree. Plus, Munchak was kinda screwed by the timeline of Fisher's departure. If he had been named HC earlier in the year the coaching staff might look quite a bit different right now.

I would like to see Lowry and Palmer gone as well. IMO the only thing Palmer has going for him is he's tied to our QB of the future. There is a legitimate argument to be made that axing Palmer would be detrimental to Locker. But at the end of the day I certainly don't think that's going to be the difference in Locker becoming a great QB or not. It might be counterproductive in the short term but would be worth it in the long run (assuming the new OC is actually an upgrade).

Palmer isn't going anywhere. He's at least sticking around for another year.

I'd give Palmer a pass as well. I think this is all a different story if Britt is healthy. It's been the best season for receiver development in some time, even without KB. I don't think Palmer excels at the run game, not that I believe he's incompetent at it, but that's honestly Munchak's primary responsibility to uphold right now, and that's glued to the OL failure.

Lowery I'm meh about, most of the time.

Lowry is an average coach. Historically under Fisher our coverage teams have been above average but we have been lacking in dynamic return men. Last year it was different.

Interesting that people have said much about our struggles in coverage last year when our return guy made the pro bowl.

What is your definition of a great punter?

Kern is 26th in punting average and 20th in net average..
