I really dont know the answer to this so its a wild guess.

How many other playoff teams who has a player thats had 5 illegal hits the past 3 years? Steelers aside.

Dunno. The penalties don't matter, really. Teams are likely paranoid while he's on the field. He makes players scared. That's what teams need on D.

Dunce once again you don't get it. Harrison could have hit McCoy any way and any where except the head and it would have been a great play. He could have broken him in half. He went for the head of a QB, the most protected player in the game, I don't want him or anyone like him. You don't have to try to hurt people to play to win. All this discussion is sort of moot regardless because the NFL IS going to protect QB's and now for about the 4-5 time harrison has put himself in the position of being the "poster boy" for illegal hits.

I used to try to take DB's out as a runningback. I wasn't ever fined or penalized. Should Turner be thrown out too for taking out Griffin? He lowered his head.

Football is a mean and nasty sport. The greatest players of all time were mean and nasty on that football field.

Pretty lame when your best argument against Harrison is that he is a Steeler and you hate the Steelers. Wow deep!

If that is a RB with the football the play is a non issue. Players including Qbs, have to take some responsibility in protecting themselves.

Turner launched into a smaller vulnerable player. Ban him!

I remember watching a game where Moose Johnston took a short sideline pass, lowered his head and ran over the linebacker. John Madden was doing the game and he asked how come an offensive player can do that to somebody but not a defensive player.

    Out of high fives.

The funny thing is that many offensive players were publicly against all of the rule changes.

A lot of the changes come down to money. Not keeping the game intact.

OK, you do know that QB's are protected right? When tackling a RB you are allowed to hit in the head. I blame griffin for being a puss.
