"Prevent Defense"

Well i Know madden isn't something you should base football discussions on, I play a lot of it, pretty much everyday, have been for the last 10 years, and when ever i'm in a situation such as last weekend I perfor to play a Dime package 4 deep safe zone while rushing 4, and back in the good days when we had vaden bosh and babin, it worked out pretty well, getting one of them on the edge to pressure the qb and hurry the throw forcing short passes underneath, but thats just my 2 cents

 

Madden simulations can't process every variable that exists in real life football. EA Sports tries mightily to say the game is programed to factor in wind, fatigue, down and distance, along with other things, but it's not the same.

 

hmmm, true, well i know it was when i had KVB, i guess i couldnt remember who our other end was, was it Kerse, that year we started 10-0

 

Thats definatly true, I can't tell you how many 4th and 15 or greater plays i've converted for a 1stD with pretty much the same play most of the time

I miss Jevon Kearse, that was my favorite player for years.

 

Yea, i miss kearse, IMO morgan def wasn't worth a 1st round pick, hopefully we'll get a chance to upgrade our DE position in the offseason

 

I liked the Morgan pick at the time, like Morgan now as a matter of fact. Hope he comes along cause he was looking amazing at times early last year and early this year.

 

Well I hope he proves me wrong, I just hope we can finish 10-6, 11-5 would be great, but i don't see us beating the saints, unless we greatly improve on all levels
