    Ironic. Because I would have said the same thing if someone told me all the fans of an SEC team not named Alabama or LSU would be bragging about the accomplishments of other teams. Because quite honestly, all you're doing is bragging about the accomplishments of other teams. The only commonalty you have with these teams are is they beat your team and you feel like that makes you important somehow. It actually doesn't, sorry.

    Wow these guys are so good. I'm so glad they came from the Big 10. It makes me feel better as an OSU fan knowing my team had to play against Tom Brady, and we actually beat him. Wow, I can't get over at how amazing the rivals of OSU are!

    Alabama > Ohio State
    Auburn > Michigan

    Iron Bowl > yankee bowl or whatever you guys call it.

    And here's the holes in your argument.

    Michigan is ranked higher than Auburn.

    If you base a rivalry only on rankings and what it means as far as the BCS you're ignoring history and being a prisoner of the moment.

    Remember last year when if Oregon beat Oregon State it would have gotten Oregon to the BCS title game? Man that Oregon/Oregon State rivalry was the best rivalry in all of college football last year!!!!

    He's just reaching for any straw he can grab at this point.

    Anyone that compares the Iron Bowl to "The Game" has no idea what they're talking about and probably isn't a college football fan anyway.

    Anyone who bases which rivalry is the best in college football on a year by year basis and bases it solely on what the teams are playing for shouldn't be watching college football. Like I said, if that was the case than the Civil War might have been the biggest rivalry game last year, and I think we all know that's not the case.

    This goes back to the SEC fans not knowing what rivalries are.

    They think it's a competitive game and then go go have a beer with the opposing team after.

    Southeners share a culture. SEC-SEC-SEC is just one piece of that.

    sidebar - I really laugh at Dang Yanquees who come south for work and then their children become 'southern'. Its really funny. D Daddy dont hunt/fish/shoot and R junior wants nothing too do with corrupt unions and rust belt labor.

    No it wasn't. The best rivalry last year was Auburn/Alabama. Same as every year.
