Like you, I would consider 6-6 potentially a fireable offense next year. Depends on how the games play out though. If we are 6-6 but they are competitive games, maybe keep him around.

I'm expecting nothing less than 8-4 at least next season, we'll be a much more seasoned team.

Thing is, you can't just fire him for the sake of firing him. You have to have a good replacement that would want to coach at UT for the longterm.

I'm not betting. That is mildly retarded. Who bets on a message board?

I think he gets a fourth year regardless of how next year goes. Even if it is another 6 win season I think he will still be here for a fourth year.

Sorry I guess blindly supporting someone who has been an absolute failure up to this point makes more sense.

Good coaches adapt to circumstances no matter what they might be.

Average coaches make no changes and get steamrolled.

0 points in the 2nd half of the last five games. Inexcusable

0-6 in the SEC for the first time ever. They were not even competitive. They have a chance to go 0-7 and break records.

We are hanging are hat on a victory over Cincinnati as his greatest accomplishment in two years.
Oh yea and the orange pants...

There is nothing wrong with criticizing Dooley. He deserves it.

Everyone knows the adversity this man is facing. Nobody is asking him to do miracles but he needs to show us something. A sign this program is on the right track.

I bet Jesse last year and the loser had to leave the forum for a month. I won and there was much cheer and jubilation!

At least he beats the teams we are favored to beat which is an improvement over Fulmers last year.

  7. I don't see what the big deal is. It's not like we're betting cash or anything -- I win, you're gone. You win, I'm gone. Simple concept.

Your mouth is writing checks that your as$ can't cash. You're so convinced UT is going to lose...even rooting for them to lose, which is all kinds of pathetic. Take the bet and shut me up.

I think the lack of rapes/assault/burglery/dope dealing in the dorms ect... shows me something.

just sayin' I was sick of the 'athletes' fat phil was running thru Ktown.

Why would I want you to "go away"? Why would you want me to go away?

What would be the point of that?

It is not pathetic to cheer for Vandy. I'm from Nashville, I can't help but have a certain amount of pride for Vanderbilt. I have family who went to school there and I went to the games growing up. If it wasn't for the fact that I actually went to Tennessee I most likely wouldn't care what they did.

  10. lol wut

So you're on the Vandy bandwagon? That's what I'm getting out of this thread. You're hoping the program you've followed your "entire life" loses to its in-state rival. Your man card should be turned in, because that's the definition of pathetic. Sidewalk, bandwagon fan....can't believe I've even wasted my time arguing with such a chump.

A little advice -- usually when you hop on a bandwagon, the team you're latching onto is at least good. Keep that in mind next time.
