It could be worse

If the Titans lose to the Colts next week I won't watch another game for the rest of the year.

 

At least we don't get the biggest blowout award.

He has been hiding in Indy since Manning's announcement. I have asked that same question...however, now I am not so sure I want to see him back LOL.

 

hmm... if we lose to the colts.... that's a step back from the luck sweepstakes...
however, it would go down as one of the most embarrassing loss in titans history..

 

I don't think it matters who has the first pick. If Luck's Daddy isn't happy with the team he's going to, he'll make sure Luck winds up somewhere else, just like what happened with Eli Manning.

And given how much the Colts are sucking without Peyton, I doubt Luck's Daddy wants him playing in Indy.

I was afraid to be the only one to say that.

Look we're not gonna make the playoffs. We can beat teams like Denver and Cleveland, but.... We're not gonna beat New Orleans. Not gonna beat Atlanta. Not gonna beat Carolina probably. Not gonna beat Houston in Houston...... I could go on. And Houston has most of their rough games out of the way.

We've had to deal with Manning in our division since the start of the franchise. It's been dreadful. You want that isht to continue for a meaningless win? Lol. I don't.

 

I'd do it like this. I'd treat it as a preseason game, put the youngest guy at every position in. Including those corners that barely made the team, and make it Chris Hope's first game back. Don't even play Morgan or JJ or Wash or Finnegan.

The only starters that should play are the absolutely terrible ones. Like start Amano, CJ, and Marks.

And then just chalk it up "rebuilding". Not really an embarassment, still gives Indy a win and Miami some Luck. They need it. No QB since Marino and he didn't even win anything? Damn dude that sucks. Where's the love?

 

Luck will be the #1 pick regardless of who has that pick and if it's a team that's more than comfortable with their current QB then they can turn around and deal him for a package deal that if used correctly can make that team into perennial SB contenders overnight possibly even creating another dynasty in the NFL like the Cowboys in the early to mid 90s when they traded Herschel Walker to Minnesota.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle went out on a limb by saying Luck could be worth 3 1st Round Picks.

I have a feeling that even if Indy had the first pick Peyton will pull rank and demand that they trade down and draft Blackmon since I'm pretty sure Manning doesn't want his career to end not being able to step back on the field knowing his team is a shell of it's former self.
