Most excellent. I had zero to do with any of those airframes when I was in. Worked with RC135 and SR71, mostly. I want to emphasize the word 'with'. I never laid eyes on a SR71 until I took my kids to the Alabama Space Museum.

I played in Southern Indiana. I final tabled event 2 out of 650 players and I was the freakin bubble boy in the $1600 Main Event!! DOH!! :( :( :( :( took 34th our of 330 players and 33 got paid. Stings so bad. With about 40 players left in the main event... I have KK and I open to 6800 with blinds at 1200/2400 and late position guy goes all in for 75k and I have about 90k behind. He'd been at my table all day and I was 99.9% sure he didn't have aces so I insta called him. He shows up with 88. So I'm in great shape until the board comes 3 8 J (all spades, I had king of spades). Unluckily no more spades came and I was crippled down to 15k. I actuallly go down to 7.5k in chips with the huge big blinds then all of a sudden, i hit a little rush and get back up to 35k and hit runner runner straight to go up to 70k with 34 people left. At this point, blinds are 2500/5000 500 ante and I've been patient and I'm down to 50k. I'm in the Big Blind, Under the Gun(First to act) makes it 12,000 and I look down at Ace King suited. I know his range I know I have him crushed. Looking back, the percentage play might be to fold... and try to cruise into the money because 33rd place took $2700 home and 34th took $0 home.... But at the time, I was confident and playing like a man possessed and the little voice in my head said... "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME" you don't play for 33rd place. So I went all in and he had what I thought he has.. Ace Eight and of course he gets there on the river to bust me out of the tourney. Sucks for me but oh well. There will be more poker tourneys. I just wanted to win so bad because first place was $107,000. On the flip side, theres a blog entry on WSOP.com about how I took a huge pot off of a well known pro and my name and picture were put on WSOP.com from where I made the final table of event 2. I wish I coulda won but you know.. That's poker. I'm contemplating on playing another wsop circuit event here in a few months. My girlfriend is supportive of me but its hard to explain to her that I'm gonnabe gone all weekend playing cards... so I can't do that all the time. :p

I have to admit if I was at the final table or on the bubble I would sit out as many hands as possible to simply cash out big. Winning the title is priceless, don't get me wrong, but winning $700,000 per eliminated player at the final table would be too sweet to pass up against the idea that an unlucky card could cost me 3-5 million in winnnings.

It's such a tough decision. Right now, the decision seems easy but in the heat of the moment, all you care about is winning and I felt like if I could win that pot and get over 100k in chips with 33 people left... I felt like I could hit the final table of the circuit main event. I was so confident I could out play almost everyone at my table and my read had been dead accurate in both tourneys.

this video is pretty crazy when you think about what happened. Here I am.. butthurt about not making a $2700 minimum cash.. and this guy does the same thing.. with $250,000 on the line.

It's boring... but in comparison to televised poker?

I'm just glad they finally took "Poker After Dark" off after SNL on Saturdays. The sounds of it coming from the living room was enough to piss me off.
