RG3 is the best player in the Nation right now. If he had half the talent Stanford has, Baylor would be undefeated and sitting in the top 5 right now.

6'2, 220 lbs, strong arm, olympic speed, and smart. Graduated from Baylor last december, 2 and a half years early. Wants to be a lawyer if this football thing doesn't work out (I think he'll be ok).

24 Touchdowns vs 2 Interceptions this season. Completing 78% of his passes (was 80% before yesterday). At one point after the 3rd game and well into the 4th game of the season he had more TD's than Incompletions (ridiculous stat). Averaging 300+ yards passing per game with a scrub receiving corps with the exception of Wright who will be a stud in the NFL as well.

He can make all the throws, he's an AMAZING athlete (Football and Track star in High school, set hurdling records), he throws the deep ball with insane accuracy, and he's fast.

Damn shame his teammates are likely going to rob him of the heisman this year, but he is only a redshirt junior.

Interesting...had not been paying too much attention to the Big 12 this year.

The other guy I would throw into the top tier of QBs this season is from up here....Russell Wilson. He is a little short (6'-0" may be pushing it), but he is a leader...yesterday the announcers converted his college performance into the NFL passer rating and came up with a 151.5. He can pass, run, and catch..and is extremely accurate and poised.

His size may keep him out of the mix between Luck and Griffin here, but I would keep my eye on him next year in the NFL...he will be there IMO.

You got an argument, but Andrew Luck all day.

Seen way too many QBs with his potential not make it in the NFL.

    Reggie McNeal comes to mind.

However, I like this guy and I think he will be special in the NFL.

Griffin is amazing. I've been a fan since watching him scramble around trying to make things happen against Texas 2 years ago. He was dynamic at that point, but I never imagined that he would be this efficient.

I don't want to take anything away from him, but I've caught parts of several Wisconsin games and it looks like his playing Madden on rookie level. He'll stand alone in the shot for seconds, then throw to a guy that doesn't have anyone within 5 yards of him.

Combing that with watching 3 years of him throwing bad interceptions into triple coverage off his back foot at NC State, and I just can't put him on my list.
