So then you were lying when you said you were going to move and get out of this s***hole?

Honestly, you said you were making 100k a year as the fastest box mover at Wally World. If you can't find fun in Nashville making that kind of money, something is wrong with YOU.

I love it here in Nashville. I can boat on Old Hickory or Elm Hill. There are plenty of stellar golf courses if I ever decide to take the game up again. Of course there are tons of parks, museums etc. There are concerts and events here and guess what... they don't all end at 10pm lol. Heck I go to Zanies a half dozen times a year and I usually go for the 9pm show that lasts til after 11pm. Just cause you don't drink doesn't mean you can't hang out a bar. Last I checked they don't force alcohol down your throat.

Like I said, you are just being a whiny b**** if you can't find things to enjoy here. You are just a flat out liar saying the nightlife dies here at 10pm.
If you find it dull here, it's because YOU are dull. Maybe you just need more friends, can't say it's surprising that people don't want to hang out with you.

And there he goes again... still bringing up the job I had 4 years ago for cheap insults when he feels a bit inferior. Pick your head up.

Boating, Golfing, Parks, Museums (our museums are pretty weak, unfortunately- being an art nerd, myself)... all sounds pretty dull. Yes?

Our concerts are pretty bad too. The great tours always skip Nashville over due to the country label we have. We typically have to make the trip to Atlanta to see the new great tours going about.

Zanies is a regular spot. But it's not a common hangout throughout a week or anything.

And yes- that's what it is, people just wont hang out with me. I'm lonely. :( Or they can't find anything to do in this town, either.

I said I'm leaving the area once my kids are older. And again, I'm not "b*tching" about it. I don't think it's that bad. Just boring. I'm a faster lifestyle kind of person though. Lakes and golfcourses will never be my idea of a good time. I like crowds. Entertainment. Character. So therefore Nashville isn't ideal for me. It's an older person kind of place for the casual living types... again, I'm not saying it sucks. It's just not a "fun" place. Very little to do.

What are these things you want to do that you can't do in Nashville?

You have come across as always complaining about Nashville on this forum. Too add to that, your comments are just so ridiculously bs with "the city closes down at 10" that its just trolling crap.

So you really are just crying like a *****. What purpose does your whining serve? Sorry that I hurt your feelings by bringing up the trolling crap you've said on this forum before.

As far as boating, you know you can ski/wakeboard behind those right? And lots of nice eye candy out on these lakes as well. I guess we all have different hobbies and enjoyments in life, but I would not describe boating as dull.

Anyway, pretty sad if you can't find any fun on 100k a year in Nashville imo.

Eye candy at lakes? Do whuuu?... Not my type, I'd bet. There are women at rivers too, but I'm not picking up females there, either.

Saying the city shuts down at 10 might be a SLIGHT exaggeration, but it's not "trolling".

It's just not a very happening place... at any time. Specifically once the old folks go to bed.

Titans and Preds games are about as good as it gets. Can't live there though.

DW clearly is like a groundhog...if he sticks his head out of his apartment and doesn't see anything happening, he goes back inside. Nevermind that anyone else, like my daughter and her friends, can go out after 10 and go to clubs, dance, listen to music.

Clearly nothing but country music is played here. That country magazine, Rolling Stone, named Nashville the best "Music Scene" in the country. Guess that is why country acts like Jack White and the Black Keys have chosen to move here.

If you are so miserable...don't let the door hit you, jr.

    haha yeah- hipster's paradise.

We actually stop by there occasionally to work on some music/open mic nights.

    Been a couple months though.

Again... I'm not miserable at all. Just bored.

And our music scene is poop unless you like country for the most part. I guess you can watch the Belmont kids put on some decent sets. Meh...

The Green Children (group) also love it here. I asked them why... but they said it was just because it's so laid back compared to cities like LA. Some people just like the simple life... and Nashville is about as simple as a decent sized city gets.

West End is really about the only spot in the town where I see anything buzzing at night. And it's a nice hang out area... but again, mostly just bars and college kids.
