Amato is our long snapper. Thinkyou're referring to Amano and he is our center. He didn't get hurt, it was Leroy Harris that did

    My assessment:

    #1 Defense

If our defense can keep improving we will be a hard team to beat. Even without Britt our offense is putting up points. We collectively have a lot of playmakers on offense. If we can keep getting Cook in space, CJ in space, and Hasselbeck time to pick apart the secondary I don't see many teams we can't match up with.

It's gonna be a fun season.

This could potentially be our best D since 2000 when we only gave up 191 points

I'm still worried about the pass rush. Four sacks in 61 pass attempts is pretty unspectacular.

What I really liked from todays game....

With a 31-6 lead,Cleveland drives down the field and scores to make it 31-13. This absolutely infuriates Jerry Gray as he doesn't want TD's to be scored against us. It simply shows that even with a large lead, late in the game, our DC still wants to play sound defense.

Perfect thinking, and he'll no doubt take that recorded TD to the boardroom Monday morning and go through each and every move until the Titans figure out how not to do it again.

I disagree. Our offense looks better now then I can ever remember. Matt Hasselbeck has been the best off season signing in the NFL thus far...

And the new coaching staff is awesome. CJ and Ringer were on the field together a lot today. We're getting Cook involved in the passing game instead of benching him for Scaife. We got rid of anchors like Gage and Scaife.

08 had Haynesworth. Without him, I think that team may go 9-7. This team has poor production out of one of it's best players and lost the other one for the year, yet still finds a way to win. Multidimensional victories. Defense getting it done, offense doing what works (passing against Baltimore, running against Cleveland), and we're firing on all cylinders.

Color me surprised, but we look like a very good football team through the first 1/4 of the season.

Lots of pressure though. When a QB runs for his life and throws an arrant pass, a forward lateral (Colt McCoy), or an interception, that is effective pass rushing that doesn't necessarily show up on the stat lines. Our DLine has been spectacular thus far IMO.

Maybe so but we get pressure and cause many turnovers.
