Yea..Cook had at least one reception.

Cookie was on field for 2 of 22 run plays.

No, our RB's ran the ball 21 times but Cook was on the field for only 2. Both negative plays.

Cook was on the field for 28 plays, the Titans ran it TWICE and threw it 26 times.

lol. The thought that Cook can play WR at a high level is hilarious to me.

Daniel Graham has as many TDs as a Titan as Jared Cook.

With Britt out, it will be do or die time for Cook as an NFL starter.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a Cook homer here. All that I am saying, is, if it is going to be this obvious that he cannot block like an NFL tight end, AND, with Britt likely gone for the year, we should probably give him a shot at WR. I am not sure he can make the switch either, but I think that if he can't block as a TE he is not going to be very valuable to us as a TE.

I have heard that he is pretty fast, and he is a big target....why exactly are you so sure that he could not make the switch??? I am not trying to be a smartarse here, I am just wondering what your basis is here.

Antonio Gates does pretty good sucking at blocking........maybe our philosophy is passing now......

Understand the change in philosophy, BUT, if he is the "playmaker" that I have heard folks claim he is, I want to see him on the field more than just for passing plays.

Whether we are a pass first or run first team, it is still pretty important for a TE to be able to block. If he is so bad at this that he is pulled off of the field, we should give him a shot at playing a position where blocking is not quite as important. Just my opinion....

Because pretty fast for a TE is nothing compared to wide reciever speed. Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez prob couldn't play wide reciever in the NFL, or maybe like the 5th guy on the roster, and that's the kind of tight end we were hoping to get in Cook.

But yeah he'll see more time with Britt out. Not at WR, but Britt's gone, CJ sucks, DWill's out for now and we're not even really sure if he's any good, we're kind of running out of options on offense. We better pray our butts off that either Britt's injury isn't as bad as the insiders think, CJ finds a time warp, or one of these young guys like Cook, Dwill, or Hawkins steps up BIG.
