    Request Please:

I, like many on this board, need to stream games to watch. also, i respect the fact that most don't have that problem so i can definitely see why its annoying. It would be great if you could create a sticky thread (i think they are called that) named Weekly Streams or something; so the ppl that are concerned with that topic can chat about it and those that get pissed (*cough* Jess *cough*) can **** off with their inappropriate comments.

i won't hate on Jess, the guy is a good poster and keeps some threads going too and always puts forth interesting opinions. but when it comes to streaming, i have no idea how anyone can't pitty the fool that needs to watch some bull**** on computer with incredible lag just to see the team play.....

also, in light of 'security' and what not, many good sources are closing in terms of streams. so ppl are having a harder time finding good links. Recently, it was getting real good but they must have noticed and are working double time to shut these guys down.

i paid one year for legit nfl online pass thing like 3/4 years ago or something. WOW IT WAS HORRIBLE. IT WAS SO MUCH LAGGIER then the usual streams i watch. i tried every week and gave up after just 2 or 3 min. I have a really good connection too, so i know its not coming from my end either.

all im saying is give those who are less fortunate a chance or rather a medium to ask for help ....actually...its a saying that could be dubbed as my continent's theme.

Here's an idea TJ, and feel free to shoot it down if it sounds like too much work/hassle for the mods, but what if we met somewhere in the middle on this. Instead of merging just about everything into the gameday thread or just letting it be the Wild West in regards to thread creation... what if there were a period of, say a couple hours, after the game where all threads are allowed. THEN, go through the process of merging all defensive related threads into one.... all "We want Locker" threads into one.... and so one. Because some of these topics are serious discussions about the team and it doesn't make much sense to keep them confined in the gameday thread after the game is over and done with (IMO).

Also, I think that could potentially save you guys some hassle anyway as some people might not create a new thread in the first place if they see one already exists on that topic. Whereas a lot of people don't see that a thread on that topic has already been created when it's immediately merged into the gameday thread.

Just a thought. I definitely appreciate all the work yourself and the other mods do so not trying to step on any toes here.

I did wait about an hour but could hold off for longer.

Also, I might create a "Gameday Rant/Rave" thread each week for those who know they are repeating stuff already posted but feel they will live a longer life if they can vent a little. :)

That was going to be my suggestion.

Edit: But I wouldn't have named the thread so positively. LOL

Yeah that's certainly not a bad idea either. Of course this could all be solved if people would just take a quick second to see what topics are already out there AND think to themselves "does this REALLY deserve it's own thread". But I suppose that is too much to ask on a forum with this many members.

I've been a mod on another forum, though not with nearly this many members, so I can imagine the time you guys spend just maintaining the forum... and it's appreciated.

imo it can't be any worse than leaving the thread by DW "as i said.. chris johnson will handi-cap this team" up. That, imo, should have immediately been merged in the gameday thread or anywhere else.

I can't believe that thread is so quality compared to others started that it needed to remain.

I understand everybody getting on CJ. But this was like the houston game last year when Jeff started Rusty Smith. He gave CJ 7 touches. Today CJ got 9 rushes.....terrible game plan. Bad bad day by all. But what is amazing to me is that hasslebeck on the last drive. He threw the ball in the middle of the field with no timeouts. He throws a bomb, into double coverage, when 20 yards and we win the game. Had locker done this you say rookie mistake but this guy been in the league to long for that. Had we been getting beat 21 to 0, I understand 36 passes to 12 rushing plays but we were not .......terrible game plan and a really bad job by the coaches this week. We tackle like that sunday and the ravens will score 50
