What holes? I've watched the game twice and there were none for him until the 4th quarter. He hit those just fine.

I'd like to hear EGs commentary, he was pretty adamant about Ringer and Harper getting upfield and getting the first 3 yards then making a move. I hope he is disappointed in CJ.

How could a RB "get upfield" when he has a a D-lineman wrapping his arms around him before he gets to the line of scrimmage?

Ray Rice is another one. He's playing for 555K this year and he's been one of the better backs in the league over the past few years. Been in the league just as long as CJ too. Not surprising at all that these guys performed leaps and bounds better than CJ this week.

As long as we continue to rely on me-first clowns like CJ and Britt to be our top playmakers then we probably aren't going to make it to the promised land anytime soon, sadly. I was hoping for a culture change under Munch. I'm willing to give him more time though. You can't expect this sad excuse for a "team" to turn around overnight.

And before you break out the 'it sucks' for that last comment I ask you this.... how many times have we seen this team flat out quit over the past couple years? Sure Fisher was a big part of the problem but this team has had a major leadership problem that starts in the locker room. I want to see some accountability from our supposed "leaders"... not tweets about "chill, it's only one game" and shots of them yucking it up on the sidelines in the middle of a @$$-beating.

I love that Hasselbeck took responsibility for the pick. Unfortunately, he doesn't have nearly the talent at this point in his career as guys like CJ and Britt have. We need them to step up and start taking this game that pays them millions of dollars more seriously. Be a leader for god's sake! Love him or hate him, it spoke volumes to me that Cam Newton looked absolutely devastated at the end of their game even though he shattered an NFL record that same day. That's what you want out of your top players. Does anywhere here think we'd see CJ looking so dejected after a loss where he had a record-breaking day? I think we all know the answer to that.

because the RB we are discussing is supposed to be a pretty real great playmaker

Deuce isn't wrong to say C.J. stunk yesterday, because he was clearly rusty from the lockout and then his holdout. It's just the first game so I'm over the loss. It was a good learning experience for not only C.J. and our O-Line, but for the whole entire team. Both coordinators needed the game to see where they truly were. I'm going to stay optimistic because it's a long season. Don't think week-1 means anything, Jacksonville always plays us tough.

The most promising thing is the wake up call we just got, and then we progressively improved as the game ticked away. Too bad we have the Ravens, I hope they don't kill us and kill this young teams spirit.

true and its looking like 10 Ws take the AFCS, still let one get away and the Titans are not been good enough to leave Ws on the field.
