Cam Newton is not going to be good. Dude had the game of his life. He couldn't even pass for 400 in college.

 

In college he would have ran for 250 and passed for 200.

There are a lot of Al Campanis types that post here who think that certain people may not have the "necessities" to be a QB.


It isn't just that people disagree about Cam's prospects as an nfl player. There is real vitriol there. People really hate him.

 

We have to blame Cam Newton for that loss. His inability to cover punts and play defense cost that team.

Everybody expects the Panthers to have one of the worst teams in the nfl but it's Newton's fault when they lose.

Who played better yesterday everybody's darling boy Sam Bradford or Cam Newton?

 

I usually don't like to side with RollTide, but gotta' give Cam credit, whether it was against Arizona or not, he made a lot of great throws, looked incredibly comfortable in the pocket for his first game, and set a NFL record. We'll see...
