Well then I see where we disagree. I don't believe that the guy that wins in the last 2 min. of the game is necessarily the guy who "wins the game". He is in some cases, but to me a player who can put his team in a good position throughout the game so that we will never be in that situation, and can end the game with the victory formation is "winning" us games just as much. CJ has put us in that situation a lot throughout his career.

Don't get me wrong, having a player that can lead the team to a game winning TD drive is very important, and probably the most exciting part of the game that there is. I just believe that there are other ways to win a game.

While reading Jim Wyatt's tweets throughout this whole drama, I always kind of got the impression that he didn't really want the CJ deal to get done. He always put a negative slant on everything. I think he was hoping CJ would hold out into the regular season, and is just now saying that a deal may get done because other reporters broke the news and he had no choice. Had the guys at ESPN not reported that a deal was getting close, I think Wyatt would still be saying the 2 sides weren't close no matter what the truth was.

I'm not against CJ or even him getting paid every cent he wants (Like I care if Bud Adams spends .001% of his Billion) but seeing guys like Ray Rice, the best receiving RB in the league, show up and play for for a lot less than his worth makes CJ look bad.

Boy you are insular, or maybe you just want to act that way. By saying that CJ can't speak English, and all he does is act like an idiot, most people would assume that you really mean he just got lucky to have the talent that allows him to be, the previously mentioned, poorly spoken idiot.

I am pointing out the flaw in that logic by explaining to you that great running backs aren't simply guys that can run fast, but that it took CJ a lot of work to be what he is ON THE FIELD.

Be that as it may, feel free to ignore this and go about your crusade.

Actually, since Wyatt is the local paper's beat writer he's probably more connected to the FO and agents than the talking heads on ESPN or NFL networks. Wyatt has even said he spoke to Segal and CJ about yesterday's rumors, thus he dispelled them. The Tennessean is a legit newspaper that has the obligation to report news, not gossip. The networks and blog sites can pretty much report or post anything and then retract it when they are wrong. It's tougher credibility-wise for a news organization to retract false reporting. Does Wyatt sometimes sit on rumor/information until it's fact checked and verified? I'm quite sure he does. But his stuff is usually the most accurate.

By the way, the "fake fan" thing is pretty funny and even funnier is someone who gets offended by it.

    "Fan" requirements.....
    1. Voluntarily tell someone you're into said entity. (EX. Titans, Mad Men, Video game, websites, people, etc.)
    2. Spend money to support the fact you're into said entity.

That's it.... Nothing special at all.
Return on Investment usually involves the words "My ___ is the best" while actual entity receives money, rings, awards, fame, etc.

CJ actually is very beneficial towards being the best team in the league so I'm glad if he gets his money and get's on the field.

That was what I was thinking as well. As an actual REPORTER (not a hack glorified gossip columnist putting being "first" ahead of being "right") he probably waited for more solid confirmation before getting the story out there. Sometimes he will look slow, but sometimes ESPN et. al. look pretty stupid also.

It bugs me because it is hypocritical of him to say it. He's only in a position to criticize because we drafted him. If he is drafted elsewhere or leaves via FA/trade he wouldn't give a shznit about what any Titan fan says.
