CJ is only concerned with CJ, proves it every day.

If CJ wants anything close to Fitz money, prepare for this thing to drag out for a long time.

I'm sure he'd love Ftiz money. Not gonna happen though. I have a hard time believing CJ will turn down top RB money and sit out. He wouldn't be a free agent for 3 more years. He won't really have a choice. We know CJ loves his stas. You can't pile up stats at home on the couch.

    Totally selfish post....

I almost picked up Ringer in round 15 of my FF draft Friday night. Didn't because I was hopeful that this gets resolved. I think that I will pick him up on the waiver wires when it is available though.

In good news (for me, anyway), I was able to "bid up" CJ during the draft, and some other sucker has him....at the end of the night he cornered me about my opinion about the holdout LOL...

Is CJ out of shape? I doubt it. He works out all the time. I understand that him being in a new system makes it harder for him to be ready right off the bat, and it could hurt our chances in week 1. I'd still rather have CJ than not have CJ. This will all be over soon.

I listened to a member of the Lions on NFL Radio yesterday giving an interview. During the interview he remarked (several times, actually) how much he had underestimated the value of OTAs before this season, and that it was critical in the preseason to not only make up for the lost time of OTAs, but also get into game shape.

I am sure that CJ is working out, but that is just not the same as a coach controlled practice session. If he signs THIS WEEK I think that the damage can be limited to 1-2 weeks into the season. If it extends further than that I see damage extending out about 2 weeks for every one week he continues to hold out.

He is young, and thinks that he is invincible. I think that he may be in for a rude awakening here.

Cheesehead I will absolutely take him early. He will be starting game 1. Probably signed a new deal by Monday the 29th.

deal needs to get done soon, like within a week, then im off the bandwagon. Start shopping CJ. Were going to wind up giving him obscene guaranteed money while he sits on the bench for the games cuz hes out of shape. Risk of injury is ever increasing.

Call me disloyal (I call it pragmatic), but I picked up Arian Foster. If I could have gotten CJ for the money I had left (we only have $100 total for the first four picks) I would have taken him (maxed out my alottment, then got outbid). However, I would have then absolutely taken Ringer (as a handcuff) in the later rounds, as I think at this point CJ is either inactive early or hurt for a significant part of the season.

As much as I love CJ as a player, enough is enough. We've pubically offered to make him the highest paid running back in history and that is still not enough for him. I'm not sure who is agent is but he and CJ are complete morons.

As far as I'm concerned we should try to move him, however, I don't think any team will trade for him considering the contract he'll demand.

CJ will run out of money really fast, keep fining him, once he can't afford new grills and rims he'll be back. If not, I don't care if he becomes the next Barry Sanders. We own is rights and if he won't play for us he won't play in the NFL. I'd love to see him try to find a real job... I'm sure there is a car wash with his name on it somewhere. :D
