Yea I did see it, did you? He scored 3 TD's in the 4th quarter against the leagues 9th best defense, ON THE ROAD, with the SEAHAWKS! Dude he's good. And he did all that down by 28 points going into the 4th quarter. He never quit. He's way under rated right now.

I don't think he will, either. Hopefully he can look at past history since the move, and realize that the Titans have NEVER had a bad starting running back. This is the best place for him. It's best for the team, and for him to have him around. He wouldn't have had 2,000 yards on any other team. It's the perfect storm, a great RB on the team most dedicated to the run game.

You took the words right out of my mouth. He has what they call exceptional football I.Q. I believe that Hass can be AS good as Bree's and Manning if you give him a supporting cast to go with his ability to break defenses down on the fly and make accurate throws like he is acustomed to.

Also, I will say it now that I am eating my crow with BBQ sauce. The FO made an excellent move in FA! My hat is off to them!

Hasselbeck passed for 17 TDs and 17 INTs two years ago. Last year, he passed for 12 TDs and 17 INTs.

Yes, it's reasonable to hope for improvement behind a better o-line and with better weapons.

Let's be realistic, though. Looking at his performance in one playoff game and claiming he's the best passer the Titans have ever had is pretty ridiculous.

Look, folks. I love the signing. I think he's exactly what the Titans need right now. I am just not going to let myself become a drooling fanboy.

Great news. This may not be the most jump out of your seats exciting move but I think it was our best realistic option for a veteran QB. Hasselbeck is still solid and can win some games for us. He should also be a great mentor for Locker. He's at the perfect point in his career for a stopgap starter/mentor role. He's not so washed up and over the hill that he's completely useless on the field yet he's not close enough to his prime to fend off Jake for too long (assuming Jake isn't a bust).

I sure did watch it. It was 28-3 heading into the 4th quarter. So I wouldn't buy into the inflated stats.

Dude, he was knocked out of three games and pulled from another.

Based on VY fan prorated math should I expect him to be knocked out of three more games and pulled from another?

Everything determining Vince Young's worth seems to involve regression analysis. We have to take two halfs to make a whole. We have to prorate and project his stats.

Vince Young gets hurt. It's a factor in his game and if you can mark him down for 3000 passing yards based on the 1255 yards in eight starts I can guarantee he misses more starts due to injury. (likely caused by risk taking)

Why do you want to argue about how great Vince Young is anyway? Didn't this start because I posted MY expectations of what Hasselbeck may do?

Absolutely not! You need to watch the games. He nearly single handily won the playoff game vs Chicago down by 25 points. You already know what he did vs New Orleans.

Is this turning into McNair v. Hasselbeck?
