sign cj to like a 4 year 15-20 million deal and then pick up steve smith(NYG) as our number 2 after we cut nate no hands as he is due a decent amount that could clear up space and just cut no hope cause johnson can play in his spot and he is due to much....then work on our o or dline

C.J. thinks he's getting Albert Haynesworth in Washington money.

After a QB, we need to lock up CJ no question about it.

Then I wouldn't mind going for a WR. Derrick Mason, Sims-Walker, Edwards, are all available.

There's plenty of talent in the FA pool to be had by the Titans. It's just does the Titans want to pay the money?

It's time to lock up CJ now since Matt seems to be on board. But I believe we can still get 2 or 3 more really good players in this FA market.

Huff, Comartie, Edwards, brad smith and re sign babin

I would love Steve Smith to the Titans, he'd be perfect in the #2 spot opposite to Britt. He just turned 32, so he still has some years left.. He's making $7 million in 2011, and in 2012: $7.75 million.

We should trade Justin Gage & Picks (3rd rounder?) for Steve Smith.

After that, we need to target SS (cut Hope), then OG, and then resign CJ. My dream would be Harvey Dahl, Melvin Bullitt, cut Chris Hope, sign a DT/DE, Resign Dave Ball or Jacob Ford, give CJ some $!

He wants to be the highest paid RB, so roughly 10 mil a year.

5606 yards, 38 TDs in 3 years. (1868.67 total yrds per season & 11 TDs per season).. I think he's worth the money. I hope he doesn't get lazy after his big deal, but I don't see that happening.

Give him a 4 year/40ish mil contract, with some bonuses.

The CJ deal is obviously priority #1, but I think it will take a while. The Titans front office will have a plan and I think they will let CJ hold out for a bit, knowing that he will eventually cave and lower his demands. I have no doubt at the moment that a deal will eventually be done and it will be good for both sides.

As for free agents, I think the Titans will wait until the big-name WRs are signed (Santonio Holmes, Sidney Rice, Braylon Edwards) and maybe even the middle-of-the-pack guys, too (Malcom Floyd and James Jones). At that point, I could see the Titans finding a player who is desperate to sign and getting him for cheap. Maybe Mike Sims-Walker or Steve Breaston.

I also expect the Titans to try to find a bargain on the D-line, like they do every year. The player they bring in will not be a big name.

It also wouldn't surprise me if they bring in some O-line depth, but probably not a surefire starter.

As for SS, I just don't really see the Titans making a splash. I am not even sure they will make a move at all. I think Hope might be back, which we will all hate.

I still say Tennessee has to do something on the D side of the ball. They have to boost the secondary thats a must**! Then sign a coulpe D line man!

BTW don't forget people I know their rookies but we drafted big on D this past season

It's not a question if they want to spend the money. They HAVE to spend the money. Last thing I've seen on the subject said they have to spend 99% of the cap this year.

So let's cut VY (around $15 mill), Hope ($6.5 mill), and Gage ($2.5 mill) and use that money to get a good Safety, D lineman, and WR or TE.
