Once again posters are commenting on something that never happened. Read! Jesse(Consider the source) said he bets that Jake was in his hallway ready to go 24/7 for 4 days. Doesn't mean he did that.

    Jake's not that retarded anyway.

I'm glad to see Jake is in town. But I'm more concerned with how he translates to the NFL and how he can lead the Titans than how he compares to Vince. The past is history. I hope VY finds his way and can use his God given talents for a purpose...because he has many.

It is good to see the enthusiasm (note RollTide, I know that he was not sitting at the door as described by Jesse, but I also have read that he was among the first players to show up), and I am encouraged by this, but I want to see it translate on the field before anointing him here.

Heck, I would be there at 5 AM if I were in his shoes...but, then again, I suPk at actually playing the game, so enthusiasm would not help me at all. Point is, lets not get ahead of ourselves here. I love his attitude and enthusiasm, but he needs to show me on the field before I start the coronation for him.

Baloney. He's the guy who's supposed to lead this team for the next decade. Him being present and ready to roll as soon as possible means everything at this point.

But if Rusty Smith did it?

It means nothing if he can't play.

That is true, but the difference is Locker was taken 8th overall and is expected to be the face of the franchise for the next decade, and Rusty Smith is a roster filler.

Nobody cares what Rusty does, but it's awesome to see your potential superstar show a sign of leadership already, and it gives fans hope even if he hasn't thrown an NFL pass yet.

I agree with JCBRAVE, I'm very happy to see that he was the first one there and that's a great first step for him in my opinion, but as of right now it means nothing. I don't know how many of you heard, but Brett Kern saw Locker walk around with a very hefty playbook.
