I was listining to 104.5 tonight and the trivia contest was about SEC FOOTBALL, not any particular school but the SEC

It could just be the way we think in the south. When I was in Nebraska it was all about the Nebraska not the Big8 - although they really talked up their Big8 championships. I mean it was the Big 2 with the other team being Oklahoma. Only occasionally would anothet team do anything in football.

Regardless. When I was in Dallas SMU was on death row still and the city was shunning the Cowboys so there was just a bunch of Elvis movies on TV, suPKed real bad, but noticably they did not talk about the SWC all that much.

But in SEC areas there is talk about the SEC not just the local school. I think the rest of the country is wrong on this one.

Most SEC fanbases hate the other SEC team fanbases. probably more than any other conference.

However, we all understand that the SEC manages to produce one unbeatable team a year, and are proud of that.

 

I'll never stop now that i know how butthurt other people get over it.

That means that every SEC team on one teams roster was beatable.

Not so hard when their OOC record is filled with teams like Jacksonville State Community college.





lol @ SEC Fanbases hating others. I guess that's why they all chant "SEC! SEC!" and unite at the end of the season... coat-tailing whichever one was lucky enough to get a few "home cooking" SEC calls in order to stay undefeated. (Alabama a year ago, anyone? LSU?...yeah.)
