Kerry Collins officially retires

He played like he was retired last year.

 

Hmmmm, this has been thrown out previously, but does Brett Favre still have half a season left? He still hasn't "officially" retired (filed the papers) yet.

He's close by, could fly in on Thurs out on Sun.......could we get 6-8 games out of him? He would have to know his role and be more of a player/coach for Jake.

I love Hasselbeck's mentality about being a mentor.
I'm not sure wether he means being a mentor as a starter or from the bench but its certainly the right mentality and not many QB have the same view point.

But, one of the benefits of being a mentor comes from knowing the system and only right now Locker and Rusty know the system more then anyone they could bring in.

Also, I think the Seahawks still want to sign him.
They were a playoff team last year and they've added an OC that will bring the WCO that Hasselbeck been running his whole life.

 

Next to re-signing Justin McCareins back in 08, I'd say this is right up there.
