If the Titans want CJ there for week one, they will have to give him a new contract. One would be naive to think otherwise imo.

guess Johnson is a liar punk then, same as the majority of players.

That's just your opinion. The reality of the situation is that CJ is not going to show up without a new deal. Your opinion of his decision is irrelevant. Do you want the Titans to have CJ or not? If you do, you're going to ave to come to grips with the fact that he's getting a new deal before the season starts. If you don't, then winning must not be very important to you, cuz if you think Ringer, Harper, or a combination of both could even come remotely close to performing at CJ's level, you're delusional. There's no choice here imo. The Titans have to sign him up for at least 4-5 years and a lot of money. Just the way it is. CJ's got em by the balls right now, and he knows it. They will pay him.

I would let him rot away his career and play the guys that want too play in Tennessee.

Any RB and I do mean ANY RB that performed the way he has would demand more money than he's making. This is a business. Never forget that. You would be demanding more money too if you were him whether you're willing to admit, or even realize it or not. Reggie Bush makes 4-5 times what CJ makes! CJ deserves more, and he'll get more. What about the Titans organization makes you think their players should never ask for a new contract when players on every other NFL team do? I was surprised and grateful that CJ took that deal last year. They need ti sign a new contract with him. They will.

Basically, you're hating the player when you should be hating the game. If you must hate. This is how it's done and CJ's no different.

    I fundementally disagree with you.

Johnson holds out then his word is meaningless and he is a liar. Just that simple too me.

I don't think he's going to have to hold out. The Titans probably already have an offer in place. It might take a week or so to get everything ironed out, but it's gonna happen.

CJ could have a leg amputated and you'd be still posting this.
Nobody is questioning he deserves top RB money - just not team hampering ridiculous Manning money.

I'm sure they have an offer. Not likely something CJ will accept though..
