God no... Shia has all the annoying, nervous qualities of the Eisenberg/Cera twins without any of the like-ability factor of either. Talk about playing the same role in every movie. Casting him as Robert Ford is about as appropriate as casting Keanu Reaves as Jonathan Harker or Woody Allen as The Man With No Name..

I'm sure Shia is a nice guy - I actually read an interview with him in GQ, and he came off as down to earth and likeable. But Shia as an actor has the charisma of a f'ing cactus.

I've never, ever been impressed with him. His screaming voice (see any Transformers film) is one of the most grating noises I think I've ever heard.

Will Ferrell was the sole reason the last three episodes of The Office were unwatchable this year.

I really liked him in supporting roles when he was in Old School and Wedding Crashers but my God, all he does when he's the lead is scream and break things.

Land of the Lost was one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life.

As far as Dane Cook goes, I never liked him. I remember seeing his Comedy Central Presents 30 minute special a year or two before he blew up and a good five minutes was his just screaming. A buddy of mine saw him live about a year ago and said he was awful.

Well, seeing how that movie should have never been made, that would validate what I said right after that.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a boner for his skills lol, I just think he has potential and he's still very young. Obviously they saw something they were impressed with if he was the first candidate to play Robert Ford. Not saying Eagle Eye was a great movie by any means but I thought he was able to hold his own as the lead role. I'll give him a chance to see if he can land a Robert Ford like role first (where he actually does get a chance to truly act) before giving final judgement.

Shia is gonna get his chance to prove it in his next flick after Transvesters 3.. He's going at it with the likes Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman and Noah Taylor. We'll see. I predict his role will be purely "Shia" or miscast...

Tom Hardy is a rising star, in Inception he was like the Justin Timberlake in The Social Network, minor character that stole the show out of nowhere. I'm glad he's going to play Bane, and he's the only reason why I want to see that UFC movie coming out.

Tom Hardy has been delivering the business since Bronson. One of the key "powerhouse" performances of this new millennium, even if I didn't love the movie itself. Hardy is going to be a monster character actor for years to come.

I assume you're talking about The Wettest County In The World, which I'm extremely excited about. It's directed by John Hillcoat, director of The Proposition and The Road. Also Nick Cave is doing the screenplay, which I think is completely awesome.
