    No, he's not.

You guys have got to forget 2009.

He wasn't that guy last season. He wasn't half as impressive as that guy.

Not sure what happened- whether he got lazy, hurt, or what... but you don't give a guy a pay raise for doing worse.

He was getting caught from behind by linemen last season. He didn't just lose A step... he lost quite a few of them, in just one offseason. Who's to say he doesn't do so again?

Our offense line was terrible last year and he still got 1350 and 11TD. I'm speaking strictly for myself here, but in some cases I just don't listen to what you have to say because you're so stubborn even when you're clearly wrong. Name 3 RB better then CJ.

    3 others better than CJ?

    1. Adrian Peterson.
    2. Arian Foster
    3. Lagarette Blount

Sorry, it's a "what have you done for me lately" league and I examine RBs by their complete skillset and not their offensive line.

The offensive line is irrelevant. CJ amazed us in 2009 with great runs... in 2010 he looked average in the open field.

CJ had more yards then 2 of those guys in 2010. And if you're realistically telling me that Lagarette Blount is better then Chris Johnson then you should smack yourself. CJ's first three years are the best first three years of any running back ever and somehow you still manage to bash the guy.

2 of those dudes were nobodies in 2009. You're telling me that after one season they're better then the consensus best player in the NFL?

Yes. CJ had more yards than Blount... Blount didn't start til WEEK 11.

Had he started from the same time CJ did, he would have lead the league in rushing. He averaged more YPC than CJ and is a more complete running back.

Maybe you missed the part where I said I also look at skillset along with what they've done lately. CJ is fast. That's it. That's why without superb blocking- he's really nothing special.

But if that list is a problem...

Substitute Charles, Turner, or MJD for whichever one you want.

They're all more complete backs than CJ.

    Why not?

Take away CJ's 2009 season and no one considers him top 5.

Why shouldn't they get that same benefit?

    bwahahaha

Arian "fumble" "fluke" Foster is not a top3 NFL rb. And I like Blount too but to list him as top3 right now lol!

Anyway, I'd rather have Jamaal Charles right now over CJ. And maybe AP. That's about it.

Jamaal Charles is CJ but not as good. You just like to hate on our players. Ask any NFL fan you know who they'd rather have

I'd agree with that if teams couldn't just cut a guy with multiple years left on his contract for whatever reason they see fit.

Guys should try to get as much money as possible while they can.
