Terrelle Pryor...what pick would you use for him?

    Not one thing i have said on this board that is irrational. I never said his character wasn't an issue but it is not like he is out there murdering children. It's others who want to equate a traffic ticket with a real crime. How idiotic is that?

    It is an absolute fact that posters on these board have defended illegal or deviant behavior. People defend Kenny Britt and what he did was worse than anything Pryor has done. Haynesworth crippled a guy for life but he can shore up our run D so let's get him!

    Oh no Pryor didn't follow the rules? Oh my.

    We had a QB here who was a serial adulterer and was arrested driving extremely drunk with a loaded gun in his car. He fathered a child in Mississippi with one of his mistresses. People here revere him. Can you direct me to the post written by you asking that the titans divest themselves of this horrible rule breaker after he was arrested in 2003? I guess not.

    There is something seriously wrong with your analytical skills if you can't discern the difference between Vince Young and somebody like Akili Smith or a guy like Crouch who never even played QB at the nfl level. Back door or not VY did make 2 pro bowls and has the skill set to be a good QB. So does Pryor.

    VY is a knuckle head with a poor work ethic and limited intelligence but still managed to have some elements of a successful career and a higher winning % of any Qb in this franchise. That tells me his skill set was fine.

    I can't agree that Pryor's skill set is NFL-ready or even worthy right now. VY's passing motion was better than Pryor's and it took him 5 years to get to a good level of passing. Pryor should be considered close to a 2-contract project.

    Of course. What was I thinking? I should just look at his completion percentage and how many rushing yards he had. Those are obviously the telltale signs of whether Terrelle Pryor will be successful or not.

    You still haven't said anything about what Terrelle Pryor does that translates to the NFL level. Not one thing. All you've brought up is his winning percentage, which means squat, completion percentage, which was garbage against good teams, and his running ability.

    Nothing about his inability to read defenses, his shot put of a throwing motion, his lack of accuracy or his inept leadership abilities.

    As talented as he is he was never a dominant player in college. He was a good college quarterback, nothing more and nothing less.

    Terrelle Pryor has no business being a starting QB in the NFL.

    Yes, it is. It is also a fact that I'm not one of those posters. So, I'm not sure why you continue in this vein.

    No, you wouldn't be able to find that post, because I didn't join until 2006... after McNair was gone.

    That's one scout's take on him. There are many more. Now, I dare you to find one scout that says he's accurate. Accuracy is more about individual plays than about completion percentage. That's why we drafted someone who completed 55%, because we believe he's still an accurate QB.

    That's tOSU alumnus Kirk Herbstreit. I think he has more knowledge of the situation than we do, I'll defer to him.

    Wouldn't those things be reflected in his stats, actual on the field performance?

    You said his comp % was "garbage" against good teams. No it was 55% against the teams you cherry picked. But thanks for hurting Locker's feelings by again bashing a comp % that was his last year.

    If Pryor can't find an open receiver and has no ability to make an accurate throw then how did he complete so many passes for so much yardage? How did he produce 8.6 yards per pass attempt?
