Always loved T-Mac, his lack of a consistent passion made him only a great player instead of a special player.

And during that 7 game series, his team really did lose because of a rebound.

Someone asked him what he thought of people celebrating the Heat losing and he said something to the effect of, "Well when those people wake up tomorrow they'll still have their problems of their lives so if this helps them for a little bit that's fine." He's so distant from the common man, always distancing himself.

Yea but you watch that, or even Bosh's press conference and then LeBron and Wades, you could see that they didn't want it as bad and aren't as mad as they should have been.

When a reporter asked him how he felt about the people who were happy to see him fail, and he responded with something along the lines "at the end of the day they'll still wake up and have their personal problems."

If you watch the actual clip though, it could have been misinterpreted.

He didn't say that last part about "if this helps them for a little bit..."

I wouldn't doubt he was implying what you were thinking. But it could have been misinterpreted.

Yes he did. He said something about if this makes them happy for a few days or month then good for them, something like that.

I honestly thought the difference in this series was simply depth, and I honestly thought it was a minor sports miracle that the Heat made it as far as they did. Just zero depth there, where-as the Mavericks had a lot of guys contributing. I doubt this series even goes 6 (probably 5) if Butler plays.

Although Dirk won the MVP deservedly, I thought Terry was a monster in this series. And I absolutely loved Terry telling Dirk in the middle of the 4th Q to "remember '06".

In terms of LeBron, the guy is just not the player he believes he is. He's a physical specimen, but his lack of a post-game and lack of killer-instinct in the 4th Q through-out the Finals were really, really telling.

    WHOOO!

Sorry guys. As gay as this sounds, I was at a Tony's Award party. BUT only because a hot girl wanted me there.

Rest assured I was getting b*tched at for checking the score every few minutes though. And then even though I didn't get laid... It still was a glorious night!
