You know what? I'm going to have to reverse myself. I said to someone else (may even have posted it) earlier that you can play anyone at any given position and you just have to accept the down-grade people will give you if it's a bad fit. It would be inconsistent to make an exception here just because you grabbed a starting HB to put him at FB. I think it's a fine line personally, but it really can't be helped in something like this.

    Hillis is yours.

I was about to post and draft someone else and just concede the point, you know go along to get along.
I appreciate your consistency and thank you.
You sir are both scholar and a gentlemen.

    This round is on me:

Hey, if you want, Hillis can be your FB that you play like a feature back. There are no rules that say a WR can't line up in the backfield and run the ball just as RB's get split out wide and catch the ball. You can list a guy as whatever...it's up to you to 'use' him effectively.

Personally I think the offensive side is more restrictive than the defensive side. I think we should go 2 WR, 1 TE and have 2 'flex' offensive players of your choosing. This way someone can go run and shoot on you (almost) or go with a heavy power set!

    But that's me.

Well, you could do four WRs and one back; that's why I made it five skills plus two TE/FB.

But O is more restrictive because D kind of has to be more open. DL and LB is listed differently on every roster, and a ton of guys have played two, three, or four positions even.

Not gonna lie guys: I'm seriously worried about Finnebosch. He's been a really consistent poster since I've joined the site (not just here). It's weird for him to drop off the map so suddenly. I hope he's OK IRL.

    Um...

    Same here. Hope he's alright.

Perhaps it is time for someone to take over his team even if it's just temporarily. He's missing a lot of picks.

A good thing you took Clifton as I was taking him next! And Bush is also an excellent pick! Are you trying to copy me and give people matchup problems in the passing game?

I've got a big ol' list of the best guys available that we could vote him a team from. You'd be surprised how good a team his could still be.

    What do others think?

Who do you want your nickel back to cover? Vincent Jackson or Reggie Bush? Two very different receivers. Add in Gates at TE and my two deep threats in Britt and Wallace and I think Drew Brees is smiling.....

Vilma was a great pick, Gut. Obviously all the 3-4 teams wanted nothing to do with him because he was such a disaster in New York, but he's a force in a 4-3.
