i know i don't post on here very often, but i just have to vent my total displeasure that i have over this! one part of me kind of saw this coming, but i still held on to some sort of hope that the NFL would come to some sort of agreement! i mean DO THEY , AND PLAYERS INCLUDED, NOT REALIZE THAT IF IT WERE NOT FOR US THE FANS, WHO PAY OUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO FILL THOSE SEATS AT THE STADIUMS, AND BUY THE PRODUCTS, THAT THE NFL WOULD NOT EXSIST? THERE FOR NONE OF THESE GREEDY MONEY HUNGRY MONKIES WOULD HAVE A JOB? omg? you mean they would have to be in the real world and worry about holding down a real job and providing for their family like most of us have to do? YEP! everyone of us are in the same boat on this aspect of it for the most part , so i speak for all NFL fans when i say i have invested alot of time, money and emotion into this game that i grew to love, NFL football! A GLORIOUS , BEAUTIFUL GAME THAT PAUL TAGIBOUGE( i know i spelled his name completely wrong, sorry), and money of the great players before the ones now, like your dick butcus's , earl cambells, and i could go on and on, helped build, make it what it is today! SINCE THE AGE OF 10 IN 1991 TIL TODAY , I HAVE LOVED PRO FOOTBALL! since the age of 10, the then oilers and the broncos have been my top two teams ! LOTS OF EMOTIONS, MONEY, ENGERY AND MEMORIES! this clown roger goddell, has taken a fine tuned machine AND HAS RUINED IT, COMPLETELY! he has torn down the walls, and destroyed everything that all the great players have bled sweat, and yes even died for because of the health problems the developed after their careers were over!!! AND SO NOW THE LEAGUE HAS RUNNED BY A DUMB CLOWN OF A COMMISIONER, WITH GREEDY OWNERS WHO ALREAY ARE SET FOR LIFE AND GREEDY PLAYERS! its a huge money pot!! there for i am done with profootball! A HUGE PART OF ME WILL ALWAYS BE A TITAN AT HEART! i will carry on all the great memories of watching this team play, the playoff runs, meeting steve mcnair , watching him and countless great ones play, but i will never support pro football again! not as long as that whole goddell is commish! at least i have my texas longhorns team to comfort me during the fall, as they have been my favorite college team since i was 10 cause i also started watching college at that same time! i know i am rambling, but i am a very upset fan! i will say this, if the NFL doesn't get their act together, and soon, they can kiss their exisitance goodbye!

Well i feel the same too.I've been a pro football fan since 1985 when i watched my first super bowl San Francisco and Joe Montana vs. Miami Dolphins led by Dan Marino.Been following the sport going on 25 years now and i loved Rozelle and Tagliabue as commissioner. However i think Goodell has been a failure from day one and most of the fans and lots of players see right through him and don't like him and the same goes for me.

i think this is a good thing, the Owners can afford to waste a season, the players are starting to see that they cant win this thing. the judge will go in favor of the owners on June 3rd and the players know that. the players are gonna have to suck this up and back down. They put up a cute fight, but it's about to get serious on the wallets. i expect a deal in June where the players finally accept what the owners offer.

You'll start to see players speaking out that they just want to get back to work..i can see the player feuding with each other while the owners sit back and laugh.

Sadly, this is true. Unless fans want Yankeeball in the NFL, you have to hope the owners win this. We need the salary cap, tags, etc. to stay in place. Unfortunately this probably means a mexican standoff for a while with little or no preseason and the entire season is seriously at risk. The owners have to be willing to sacrifice it for the good of the game long term and until the players feel the pain of no paycheck, they're not negotiating in good faith. I don't blame one side much more than the other but I don't want litigation to be the answer.

It's harder on teams like TN with new coaches and QB changes than established teams but that will only be short term. This sucks

Sure as hell don't want Yankeeball here in the NFL so yeah i'm hoping the owners win this thing to keep everything in place like the salary cap, tags, draft,on and on.I would definitely stop watching if teams like Dallas,Washington and New York were always winning. The beauty of the NFL is that each season you have some team that drastically improves and any team could be one or two players from making a good run.
