i'd really prefer the team bring in someone this season besides KC to come in and play and mentor Locker while he is learning and holding the clipboard.there are names being thrown around.who would you think would be a good fit here?

Hasselbeck? Orton? Mcnabb? Palmer? Gradkowski? Jackson?

    any suggestions?

Actually despite the hate for Collins I think he would be a good mentor but the problem is we will probably play a scheme different than what we can play with Collins.

Hasselbeck might be the best choice even though I seriously can't believe the love people have for the guy when he has stunk worse than Collins the last two years. But until he gets hurt he is more able to run the offense I think they will want to install for Locker.

Hasselbeck, the others would most likely want a more secure job as the #1.

Not sure if any of you guys saw "Three for the Show" on ESPN (good documentary) but it highlights Newton, Locker and Tyrod Taylor for a few weeks leading up to the draft.
Locker comes off to me as a similar kinda guy as KC. I don't think he took his camo cap off the whole show.

    KC's not a bad option.

I agree. Collins knows his stuff.

I think Bulger would be nice but goes to either Seattle or Arizona depending on where Kolb goes.

I'm saying Collins, because that is the most likely scenario. Hasselbeck would be nice.

Plus, we owe Collins for our #8 pick!! If he hadn't fumbled against the Colts, we'd be stuck with Gabbert or someone else.

Nick i don't know if anyone else thought about this.i saw that when it happened against Indy and it actually ran through my head that maybe Collins knew if the Titans won it would mess with the way our draft went.6-10 or 7-9 either way not much difference there in the win column but a world of difference come draft time.maybe the coaching staff had a nudge nudge wink wink thing with him where they told him not to try to go all out and win and if an accident happened it would be alright.anyone else thought about that? when he fumbled i was actually glad because i knew if we won that game it would screw up our draft.i know others had this thought also.barring a miracle we already knew we weren't going to the playoffs.
