Predictions associated with the Titans that you've made and now embarrased about...

You are now officially a troll dbc. I mean, most of us knew you were before you ever "left" but at least you had the guise of actually being a Titans fan back then. Now you hate the Titans yet can't stop posting for some reason.

 

Trust me Sawdust, I will be lurking because it's only been 5 years of the VY pick/destruction of a coach and franchise and I'll NEVER get over Bud Adams choosing that scrub just to get back at the mayor of Houston. With letting Fisher go and promoting that meathead to head coach the Titans will set a 5 year record for losses.

Are you the type of guy that keeps going back to your girl friend time after time, mistake after mistake? The Titans aren't family. Every thing that's happened to this franchise started with the pick of VY in 2006. A lot of good people have looked bad because of it and I support good people like Jeff Fisher who gave me a sh#@ ton of great memories.

I bet the people in Houston once loved the Oilers unconditionally as well. How did that work out? I'm not supporting Bud Adams.

Explain. How can you possibly pin everything on the VY pick? And more importantly, how can you pin everything on VY without placing any blame whatsoever on your BFF Jeff Fisher? He is, after all, the guy who has been running the show entirely since Reese got canned.

If the Titans moved out of Nashville I'd still support them... until we got a new team. As long as they're in TN I will root for them. Regardless of how much I hate the coach (been there, done that). Or how much I hate the QB. Or anyone else associated with the organization for that matter. The Titans are my team. And I'm not gonna take my ball and go home over one decision I don't like.

 

Pretty much the usual stuff... Thought VY/Lendale was McNair/George part two... thought Calico/Troupe/Lavelle would put it together and become dangerous playmakers... thought we were already overstocked at RB when we took Chris Johnson... thought Myron Rolle would become the new Samari Rolle (simply because they had the same surname. Funnily enough, it's for that reason that I wanted us to take Antrel Rolle back in '05)...

I also thought David Givens would become a solid #1 for us. I seem to be unique in that cause.

For about three straight years, I picked the Eagles for the Super Bowl (twice against the Titans, if memory serves). Only got that right once. I picked the Packers to win the Super Bowl last year, but against the Colts, which didn't pan out.

My stupid picks for the future: Ryan Mallett will be a bust (though he has his best chance for success with the Patriots), Alex Green will be taken by the Titans in the fourth round, and Ryan Mouton will become a competent member of this defence.

EDIT: And if anyone's interested in hearing my picks for last year's division champs, it's here. I did kind of okay, my biggest mistake was taking the Cardinals to win the NFC west.

EDIT 2: Right when I edited in the prediction about Alex Green, Packers took him in the third. Just to make me look silly, methinks.

 

Meh, I amassed a lukewarm response from most of those vids, so I gave up after about week 4.
