No there all pretty comparable and pacmans was much worse furthering my case and exactly my point Fisher is gone and thats who started this problem by not supporting his qb. No reason to cause collateral damage just because of one persons position on a certain topic.

Does no one else find it odd that we never heard of a divide between Vince Young and Jeff Fisher before September 7, 2008? No else think it is not just a consequence that previous to Young quitting on the team that Fisher was willing to watch him throw 2-3 interceptions a game? Young is the one that opened this original can of worms not Jeff Fisher.

But beyond that Vince Young is ultimately the one who was in charge of Vince Young's actions and it is his actions that got him cut. had Young waited to the end of the season and asked for a trade or just simply shut up like a professional would have he would still be here. At 6-10 Fisher would have been fired all the same and Munchek would have given him as fare an opportunity as any other guy on the roster.

Also, no one in Tennessee's front office is supporting Fisher's stance on Young. They have made their evaluation of Vince and it just happens to be one you don't agree with.

    Probably will get a chance.

That would be a terrible bet. How about improvement? Does he have success?

Can it make 2500 posts before VY is cut? Which comes first?

Mods close the thread or VY is cut?

I think the thread should be locked as soon as VY is cut.

We can all place bets on how many days he remains a free agent.

What happen in the Titans locker room is like this, coach talking to team, VY is crying, ONCE again and trys to run away, when the team gathered in the locker room following the loss, Young began muttering and cursing under his breath as Fisher addressed the team.

After Fisher asked Young to be quiet, the paper said, the quarterback finished dressing and prepared to leave the room. Fisher told Young to stop and not to "run out on your teammates," sources told The Tennessean. Young told Fisher, "I'm not running out on my teammates, I'm running out on you," the paper said.
And while VY was running like a coward Titans safety and former University of Texas teammate Michael Griffin chased after him. Griffin was seen confronting Young in the players' parking lot.

Griffin reportedly pleaded with Young, "You can't leave, you can't do this," before Young shrugged and left.

I played football for 15 years, what happen in the locker is like this

Coach tells you what to do YOU DO IT no question, you talk back you sat.

You watch game films AND dedicate yourself to your team.

you appreciate the fans no matter what they say to you as a professional

    AND YOU'RE A TEAM PLAYER.

And Fisher's grudge clouded his coaching judgement. 8-2 and helping the franchise save face was redemption, and in the best interest of the team, Fisher needed to let it go 2 years later.

I actually agree with most of your post until the end. If Fisher wouldn't have made a fuss then Bud's original decision would've stood and Vince AND Fisher would've been here.

After that happened Bud got rid of Vince to appease Fisher and then Fisher's staff bailed on him.

The franchise pretty much fell apart. How much VY is to blame isn't known, but I'm sure there was a lot more going on then that little feud for the organization to fall like that.

They were both at fault. But ultimately it was Fisher's grudge that set everything in motion.

You don't pull your franchise QB after every interception and have him looking over his shoulder. VY should have finished that game regardless of how crappy he was playing.

Fisher was real quick to put in Rusty when VY should have at least been given a series to see if he can throw. That happens, and VY wouldn't have went off on him.

It was moreso pain than anything right? So if VY could've played through the pain and still thrown the ball he could've finished the game.

It sucks that VY had to go out because of that though. For once he was actually wanting to be tough and play through something.
