Both Barkley and Luck are better than any QB in this years class. Not to say that they will declare, however, I think there is a realistic chance they will. We proably won't have the first pick but many of the teams that do need QBs will address them this draft. So we sit back and watch all the crappy teams draft QBs this draft, we'll be sitting pretty next draft without many teams in need of a QB.

What, he would have been a concencus top 10 player in last years, to what... a top 10 player in this years draft, at least to the Titans. Not much has changed.

As I have been saying for months now (just not lately), NO ONE is worth a top ten pick at QB. Not Newton, Gabbert, Locker, Mallett, Ponder, Dalton, or Kaepernick. That said, I see many of them getting taken in the 1st round, and some of them early in the 1st round. Those teams will be set back by their choices, IMO. I just hope that we are not one of them...

There's going to be an enormous difference between what he's going to make this year opposed to what he would have made last year. Millions and millions of difference. from an uncapped top 10-2010 to a restricted rookie top 10-2011 is going to be a huge difference.

they might not be top 10 picks, but if we want a good one we gonna have to take him early, other teams do think they are top 10's. our hands are kinda forced here cause if we skip taking a QB at #8 no one will be there in the mid 2nd thats worth a darn.

People buy into this kinda garbage every year; overvaluing how teams percieve quarterbacks. Yet every year, quarterbacks slide down and out of the first round. I can't believe that people think that 5 or 6 will go in the first round, what a joke. I gurantee that if we just stay put there will be someone worth drafting at 39, we need to let the borard fall and develp where it wants. We will get into trouble if we are not patient, mark my words.

QB's also go way higher then they are projected every year ie. Freeman (projected as a low round one - round two), Sanchez (mid round 1 - round 2). If a QB lasts until round 2 it is because of the fact they have qualities that made them fall. If you like a guy you grab him it is as simple as that.

Didn't Freeman go around 20, that's pretty much mid to bottom of round one. And Sanchez was projected top 10, and he went, what 5th or 6th? All of these guys have qualities that will make them fall, none have qualities that will elevate them, thats my point. We liked VY too and pulled the trigger, look where that got us? Sometimes you have to be smart and play the board, there is no bigger instance of that then this draft.

Some of you continue to fool yourselves in thinking you know more about "player evaluation" than paid professionals..

WHOEVER we pick, the work WILL be done to ensure its the best possible pick for our situation. Whether or not it pans out, no one on this board or in the front office or in the entire world can possibly know that...
