I'm talking about stuff that goes on behind the scenes and in the locker room.


And for the people on this board, somebody please tell me exactly what happened in the locker room post game. Somebody...

 

Vince jumped up and down and screamed like a lunatic and ranted about how Jeff Fisher sucks.

Then Fisher told Young not to walk out on the team.

In his best brokeback mountain voice, Vince said, "I quit you Jeff"

 

Nice guess. It's as good as mine.


All I know is that the players supported him after the ordeal and publicly supported him. Even someone who was one of Fisher's favorites (Scaife).

 

Even though Mawae wasn't on the team last year, I'll trust his opinion over CJ,Britt,Scaife's anyday. And we also know Bulluck basically called Vince a quitter a few years ago. (of course Bulluck has also called Fisher out, so I'd say that's basically a wash)


Anyway, the best case scenario was for Fisher and VY to be replaced so I'm still pretty psyched about the direction of this franchiser.

 

Remember all those times I said Vince Young wasn't coming back and said to get over it? If you had taken that advice you'd be over it by now instead of barely being able to peel yourself out of bed today.

Vince isn't coming back, get over it.

Out of every HOF and Super Bowl winning QB, the only one who had a better per pass stats at the age 27 is the Roethlisberger. A few (Manning, Favre, Aikman) were about the same. The rest were worse (some much worse).

How anybody that's a Titan fan could give up on a player that does this because they can't get over a coach who deserved it getting chewed out and some pads ending up in ths stands is beyond me. Two other teams have a rapist and a person who torchered dogs. So not only do we have the dumbest fan base, but a bunch of cry babies as well. Titans just need to get the best players on the field. Something we always failed to do with Fisher as HC.

Our team is run by apes, so it doesn't matter really.

Fisher is gone- which gives us the perfect opportunity to have a decent starter at QB next season... but what will we do? Draft one of these terrible QB prospects in the draft and pray that they don't throw 3 ints a game.

If you have a starting caliber QB on your team... play them. Don't be childish and hold the team hostage due to your personal issues.

But that's me speaking like I understand business. Something the Titans FO has shown they're out of their league with.
