Way to "keep it real" Kenny. Kenny is about to learn the real hard lesson of being a professional athlete does not make you above the law. Might've caught some leniency here if he played for the Jets but he doesn't and something tells me he may not be playing for the Titans either at least to start the season.

Donte Stallworth killed a guy and did 24 days. Kenny Britt won't do more than 24 hours for this.

I don't see him getting more than a two-game suspension. If Ruthlessraper gets four for tarnishing, this gets half.

This is the same guy who argued with the mother of his child on facebook a couple of year's ago. The bail thing for a childhood friend/felon. Club Karma. The problem for me is that history is repeating itself for Britt.

You hope the kid grows up before he does something that ruins his career and life.

I don't understand why he tried to run - that's what is going to get him in trouble. Hell a lot of players smoke weed, he could've gotten probation or less for that.

Maybe he can get a good lawyer and reduce the charges and learn his lesson. It's not really like he did something terrible.. just kinda dumb.

you'd get nothing higher than a 5th rounder at best....you're pretty much looking at the same trade situation as pittsburgh was with santonio holmes a year ago (w/ the jets)

It makes no sense to trade him now. See if he can pick himself up and increase your WR pool. What he was dumb, but he's 21.

Does Goodell even have the authority to do anything for something that happened during a lockout and the players not being under contract? Just wondering.

The best part about this entire ordeal is because of the damn negotiations we have to WAIT to see what happens, which could mean having no knowledge of Britt's future on draft day. Not good.

He can't do anything now because of the lockout, but he'll be able to once a new CBA is reached. He will be able to retroactively suspend players for their actions during the lockout.

Yup. Goodell has already said the players are responsible for their actions during the lockout.

You wonder if Britt might be in Nashville right now if the league hadn't locked the players out.
