I still think the Titans will take a QB early this year, hopefully Rd 2. Then draft defense first round. Then sign a decent vet. Then the vet, Rusty, and Rd2 QB battle it out for the starting spot.

I like Landry Jones a lot better than I like any QB in this class. And I say that only because I'd rather not be in a position to get Luck next year.

Are those first three names not all sophomores at the moment? If I'm right, none of them may declare til 2013. And without Harbaugh coaching & a bunch of new WR's to adjust to, Andrew Luck may fall flat on his face next year, just as Jake Locker seems to have this year.

True, I think Luck's number will decline a little bit but not drastically like Locker's did this past season. He lost his coach but many pieces around him are still there.
The Titans have little chance of landing Luck... hopefully we will not be that bad next year.
Oh and I agree about Kellen Moore. The guy is awesome.

I think the top 3 in 2012 are better than any QB in this draft. That being said my dream scenario would be to sign a veteran, someone like Hasselbeck, McNabb or Bulger that can hold us over until next year (and even start the first few games next year so as not to throw the new guy into the fire until he's ready), then trade up and take one of those 3 guys. The QBs this year just have too many question marks, where as the 2012 guys are solid. Even if we pick in the low 20's or 30's next year, I'm giving away whatever picks one of the top 10 teams wants to move up, because I've rebuilt my defense with the 2011 draft.

You can't overstate the importance a true franchise QB can be and the stability he brings to an organization.

I wasn't to impressed with Landry this year. I'm an Oklahoma fan, so I will be watching most of his games next year, so maybe he will convince me otherwise.

I've said all along, I'd prefer to pass on this crop of quarterbacks and take our chances next year. I want Barkley or Luck, each are better than any QB in this years draft. Let all the other teams that need quarterbacks draft one this year, so they won't be looking for one next year; giving us a better chance to land they guy we want. Unfortunately the reality is with free agency coming after the draft we won't be able to pass on a quarterback. I just hope it's Dalton or Ponder and not Newton/Gabbert/Locker.

I actually like Stanzi and Dalton more than Locker. In terms of his size, athletic ability and arm strength he is worth a 2nd rd pick but i'm just bothered by his no show games.

I agree. I wasn't saying I hope we take Locker because I really don't care for the guy. I like Dalton a lot. I need to look at some stuff on Stanzi. I don't know much about him.
