    What a weird turn this thread took. I am not sure I understand the vicious attitude toward Fisher by some. I mean, whether or not you ultimately hated him as a coach, it's not like he was some terrible human being...at least in no way that affected me personally. I still am thankful for the years he gave to the Oilers/Titans...just was time for change.

    I would sit and have a beer or two with him...would love to hear some of the stories he probably could tell.

    As for calling Jessica "TOMBOY"....Titanup you use that term as though it's a negative thing....you get beat up by a girl on the playground or something??

    Haha it doesn't have to be a negative thing, but just because I'm a girl on a Titans message board doesn't mean I'm a tomboy. However, what erks me is the "fake poster" comment. That came out of left field. If he wanted to insult me he should have stuck with the tomboy sh*t.

    And anyway, all I was trying to say in the beginning was that it's ridiculous to try to dismiss the fact that Fisher was our coach, or make him irrelevant now after he'd been here so long. There's a difference between wanting to kiss his as$ and "follow him wherever he goes," as Titanup wanted to make it sound...and recognizing this. Seriously? Get real.

    Yeah people can hate all they want now, but I'll always be grateful that Jeff had the team ready once the Titans stadium opened up. Those first 5 years were pretty awesome.

    As much as Fisher pissed me off, I still thought he was a good coach back in the day. The only thing was, those days had passed. I appreciate what he did for the organization though. I'd buy him a shot or beer though. Make him take a picture with my 1st born and all of that.
