I don't think you can pin that totally on Tully, sure he gave up a lot of passes to TE's for first downs but maybe....just maybe our coaching staff should have realized he shouldn't have been out there on passing downs....

    Agreed.

Our team had serious issues last year. Tully wasn't the problem in my opinion. He shouldn't be held responsible for coverage issues. He's not a DB. He's supposed to play the run and cover the short stuff.

I voted yes, but agree with many on this subject about not breaking the bank to keep him. I would think that other teams won't break their bank for him either.

Absolutely love his heart, but he can't cover...agree that maybe he should not be out there on passing downs, but if that is the case he is not worth premium dollar either.

I would say let's keep him if the price is reasonable. The coverage issues are not his fault. That was bad coaching. If you know your MLB is weak in coverage you get him help on passing downs or substitute him.

and out of that whole list over half of those players play in a 3-4 and at least 2 of them play a mastermind defense

tully did what he was asked to do and help stop the run....can you tell me one middle linebacker that has had a horrible d-line due to injuries or half@$$ schemes that was good against the pass when it was usually 3rd and 10 at least??

i would like to see everyones views about a good mlb that was good at coverage as well as stopping the run(as good as tully did for us) with a limping d-line and horrible scheme

I would bring him back but cheap! I really don't think anyone will offer him much. Nothing we couldn't cover.
