Locker's problems really look to be correctable. Honestly, I think I'd take him over any QB (besides Ponder). Mallett is a overly-confident child who just so happens to know how to throw a football. Cam Newton is an overrated child who just so happens to run fast while playing football. Gabbert is, well, I don't know where Gabbert even came from. WHY IS HE STILL BEING DISCUSSED?

I agree, honestly I have moved Locker back up to the top of my board. I just love his attitude.

Amazing how last week Locker was being discussed as a 2nd day pick and now he's possibly a top 10. Wow.

I like him......Smart, cool, fast. If his mechanics are correctable, could be the franchise QB we're looking for. Afterall, he was supposed to be the #1 pick after 2009 season (just shows, don't get too excited about Andrew Luck).

Come on guys, it's still the combine. How does 1 day of playing well in shorts change 4 years of film? At the end of the day, he still has accuracy problems, he struggles to make the right read, and his footwork is shoddy. Mayock keeps saying his accuracy could be fixed if his footwork is fixed, but I don't see it. Accuracy can't be taught, one of the golden rules of football. People are throwing this rule out the window because Locker's a good kid and we all want to see him do well. At best, he'll play like Flacco, in a similar system as well. That's just my guess.

A lot of people are saying "his accuracy can be fixed" and statements like that. I think it's safe to say that no one on this forum has any idea at all whether his accuracy problems can be fixed. We're all just pretending we know or saying what we read online (from analysts who make up half of the stuff they say). If any of us had the ability to really tell if Locker's problems are correctable, we would be working for an NFL team right now.

Let's just hope and pray that the Titanss scouts are able to tell whether the accuracy problems can be fixed (and they know exactly how to do it).

Well I only speak for myself when I tell you this, but his accuracy CAN be fixed. And I'm basing that off what I've seen him do and not do in live action, as well as what progress he's made from his last game with Washington til yesterday.

Jake will even tell you why he missed some plays last season. That and he was throwing to average college talent.

Everything you do as a football player from the moment your season is over til the Combine, get's carried over into the NFL. The reps & throws he's gotten in this month will help in his progression in the NFL. All that 40-yard dash work you put in to get faster comes with you. All those bench presses you do from late November til today gets taken with you. He's learned a bit since his last game. I believe he'll shorten his stride, and get a handle on all these balls sailing over targeted receivers.

Ok, if what you say is true, then why didn't he do it before? If all that stuff he learned in that 1 month is supposed to make him better, why did he wait until now to learn it?

I've watched enough of his games to see that he has incredible potential. I posted something a while back about his completion % being an inaccurate representation of his accuracy because of the drops by his WRs. He may improve his footwork, but I don't see him being any more accurate than Joe Flacco.

There's also the fact that one of the most significant things Locker has done since the end of the college football season, the Senior Bowl, didn't exactly go well for him. The idea that he somehow got amazing only after his college season ended is completely ridiculous.

First of all, I personally put very little stock into the Senior Bowl, or any All Star type game. You're saying that as if he rolled out of bed, and we're now talking about the guy. He's been quite good for some time now.
