Hmm. It's seems fine in Jacksonville and Tallahassee, although I do lose 3g signals in between sometimes while on I-10. Actual calls have been fine though.

Got my iPhone today... just now trying to activate it. No luck. Probably my terrible computer's fault... or maybe I just have to update iTunes since I haven't done so in a couple of years.

I have the iPhone 4 but am considering a switch to the ThunderBolt when I move to Verizon. I've been wanting a 4.3" phone for a while.

I love the 4 but there a few things about it that annoy me. Figure I may try out a Droid out for size.

    Love the phone so far.

I have only one complaint... I've been very unimpressed by the battery life.

That has always been a problem with the iPhone. It seems like with every edition they add a bigger battery but they also add more things that sap it, so it doesn't really make a difference.

On the plus side it takes like an hour to fully charge.

Did you update iTunes yet? If not, there was another update released yesterday.

And one scheduled for tomorrow. And the next day. Then they'll have one a few days after that.

Really though... do we need an iTunes update every week?

This was the first time I updated my iTunes in about two years.

Yea, I've noticed it doesn't take long to charge, at all. Just surprised the battery life sucks since Macs are incredible in that department.

The earth will end in a few days when I get my Mac.

    :/ Dark side.

My Droid X does everything i want. I'll prob get the next true Iphone for Verizon. I read the first Verizon Iphone was a rush job.

and Verizons 3g sucks. my Buddy has T Mobile 3g and can load videos etc... about 4 times faster than my Droid X... when i use wifi at home it's blazing fast. im guessing Verizons 4G wont be as fast as other 4g's either.

I posted my impression about Iphone4 back in December on this thread. I recently made the change from ATT to Verizon and decided to look into other options since my Iphone4 screen was broken (still worked). I paid less for a new Droid than it would've cost to repair or replace the IPhone.

I had a choice of IPhone4 or Droid, but I elected to go with the Droid X. I'm very impressed so far. It has everthing I need, easier to use and seems to be much quicker with downloads. That could be due to the VZN service though. Bigger screen, lighter weight and way more apps. Rather than use the proprietary ITunes, it's wide open now.
