Bob Sanders released from the Colts

He's like the Grant Hill of the NFL. Injuries ruined what could have been an absolutely amazing career.

 

A beast for sure, when he played.

I am surprised there are not 15 post on here saying "let's pick him up".

 

This is my thinking.

No joke, we should have cut him last year. It's not too late to do it now.

Sanders back to beast mode would be make me giddy as a teeny-bopper who got kissed by Justin Bieber.

 

Which was never... so he sucked.

Here's what we should do though... call him up and say... "hey look dude, you suck. You're not worth that much money, so we're going to pay you the veteran minimum with an incentive-based contract."

He'll go somewhere... we suck, so not much to lose by bringing him in for really cheap.

The Redskins, Cowboys, or Raiders will probably sign him to a 4 yr/$20 million contract.

 

Bob Sanders is the biggest beneficiary of a system I've seen. If he didn't play in the tampa two he'd be no where near as good. The dude is make of glass and will suck on any team not playing the tampa 2, watch.

 

If that is the case then fine, we don't get him. For the reasons you stated he is not worth any more than that.

 

Maybe Houston gives him a shot?

Such a shame, if not for the injuries, Sanders would have easily had a Hall of Fame career.

Explain why you think that. The cover 2 puts a lot of responsibility on safeties and he didn't have the luxury of freelancing and blitzing the way palamalu does and he had greater run responsibilities than Ed reed would ever have.
