Six NFL teams are ranking Auburn's Cam Newton as the top quarterback prospect

Denver is not giving up on Tebow.

 

I'm surprised it's not more. If it weren't for the off the field issues, he would probably be the top ranked QB for most NFL teams. I'm just wary of QBs who rely on their athleticism to make plays.

 

I hope that he is tops on 31 team's draft boards, as long is we are #32.

System QB, 2 year project IMO.

Not saying I would not draft him later, but there are NO QBs in this years' draft worthy of a top 20 pick...

I'll be rooting for Cam regardless of where he goes, so if we draft him he'll have my full support. It's not the direction I want us to go and I lean towards believing he will be unsuccessful in the NFL.

Sounds to me that Cam's agents are trying to stir up some hype by buying off a sportswriter to concoct a story laden with BS. There is no chance in hell that some sportswriter knows who is on top of at least six teams draft boards. I don't believe this story one bit.

 

I hope Cam saved his 200k he got from Auburn.

He wont be making much more in the NFL.

 

But didn't Elway basically say he thinks Tebow sucks? And they have a new coach.

 

No need for them to draft a QB in the 1st round.

Does that change anything I said that Denver has basically given up on the Tebow "project"? I mean, how much worse can it get? They fired the coach that was enamored with him and wanted him drafted, and the new president (or whatever role they gave Elway) publicly bashes Tebow??


Maybe he stays on if no CBA gets done, but I just don't see Tebow sticking with the Broncos very long given the circumstances.
