Really Mawae said he was "growing" into a leader? Tell me where you get that, here are his quotes:
“It might be time for a change of scenery,” Mawae told ESPN.com’s Paul Kuharsky regarding Young. “I played with Warren Moon, I played with Vinny Testaverde, I played with Kerry Collins, I played with Chad Pennington and the one thing all those guys had in common is that they were all field generals and leaders on the field.

“And there is one name missing that’s very obvious. And there is a difference in those four players versus the one that plays for the Titans.”
“As far as being the consummate pro like some of the other guys in the league,” Mawae said, “it’s disappointing that he hasn’t taken that step.”

Don't get me wrong, Fisher is to blame too, but VY has been given enough chances. It's time to move on.

Are you really grouping Vince Young with Pacman?

Jeff Fisher's days in Knoxville are over........

It's a fair comparison. Both were elite talents on the field, that never reached that level for a full season because of their off field actions and selfish me-first attitudes. Both put themselves ahead of the organization. We wasted top 10 picks in back to back years on both, passing over Rodgers to get Pacman. They are the only top 10 picks this organization has had in the past 10 years, and in 2011 neither will still be with the team, it is very fair to compare the two.

Your grouping Vince Young and Pacman together? No comparison whatsoever. Not even in the same ballpark.

Not in what they did no. But were they both wasted first round picks for our franchise? Yes. Did they both put themselves ahead of the team? Yes. Did they both have elite ability that was never reached for a full season? Yes. What part of what I said is untrue? VY and Pacman are two completely different individuals, but what they did to the team was very much the same.

Yeah its not like its not the coaching staff's job to juggle all the egos on the team. Yes I know you don't want egos on your team. Thats fine, I rather have egos and winning than a politically correct team full of scrubs that are never relevant. Your boy Peyton wants the biggest contract EVER. Think he is going to take a paycut? NO, because his ego won't allow it and the owner knows you have to bend over for the talent on your team, even it means crippling the positions in dire need of upgrading that your boy keeps ing about.

You know why you don't have these problems on other teams? The coaches know how to cater to said egos. The greatest athlete of all time, His Airness, had the BIGGEST ego. He never trusted his teammates. He thought it would be better to take on five people by himself than give up the ball to someone else. Guess what it took for the championships to start pouring in? A head coach capable of dealing with said ego....The Zen Master.

No, I am not comparing Vince to Peyton or Micheal Jordan , but rather the foundations other teams seem to have that we don't. Vince was changing his habiats for the better, Fisher wasn't and never has. You have to bend a little to be successful.
